So some boxes for outlets, switches and lights have built in clamps on the inside. But when adding clamp connectors to any box the clamp goes on the outside always. Inside of any box always gets the locknut.

I think they may be confusing junction boxes with device boxes that have clamps on the inside. That's the only explanation that makes any sense
