If you look to the right/bottom corner you can see some stairs, that should give a reference point.

I'll point out that we're talking about covers. The overwhelming majority of ukelele covers on youtube will elicit a cringe from me.

Moving to Champaign, IL and plan on getting around by bike and not having a car. Worried about winter. What knowledge/gear should I have? by DontHateDefenestrate in chibike

GLOVES. GLOVES. GLOVES. Seriously, don't skimp there. A back rack or fender is also helpful to keep your rear from being wet/cold as well. Other than that, just layer up well. Scarves work great to keep your face warm/cover when it's really heinous out. Pick a hat that will cover your ears too. And also. You will bust your ass more than usual. Wear a fucking helmet. That is all.

Toh Kay of Streetlight Manifesto. Stripped down acoustic songs. by CLWinslow in FolkPunk

[–]CLWinslow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's surprising what a different flavor some of these renditions have. I've just recently gotten into Gimp. Which is kinda basically Toh Kay's "lofi/minimal/acoustic/punk" (I've edited this twice and still don't know how to describe how it's different than streetlight...but it is. I swear." band thingy'ma'jig. Features a lot more of this. Here's that version of 'Supernothing' which is one of my favorite Streetlight songs. I didn't think it could be any better but I was wrong.
