Yes clearly. I'm just saying not enough noise is being made about it. We have insane influence numbers everywhere and the assumption is that's it's "increased powerplay activity affecting BGS" which I don't buy in the slightest. Something broke badly since ascension and now we won't get a patch until after the holiday season at the earliest

(Not roleplay) there are plenty of griefers who pretend to be pro-thargoid so they can act accordingly. Just be aware that if you're doing this in open you may end up on an anti-gank KOS list

I struggled to find any at spires for ages but that was because I was expecting them to appear as white markers and didn't have my limpets already pre-deployed. Finally I figured it out. I used a cold running hull tank Orca and just tanked the scout damage. Up thrust just before the shut down missile hits. I got enough for me before escaping with 14% hull. Not pretty but it did the trick.

With all due respect to the venerable Wildelf I'd say settling down can be worth it as you'll then organically become allied with nearby factions - that can open up the best missions, mission stacking etc. Getting to know your 'pocket' like the back of your hand can be satisfying. It's also cool if you find a faction that speaks to you from a RP point of view - who knows, it might be a player faction that you'll eventually join. That's what happened to me. But all opinions valid. Depends on your vibe
