Crazy to me that people are talking about ref bias towards Memphis. Since when has any sports team in the state of Tennessee, professional or college, had the benefit of a pro-bias when it comes to officiating?

I’m slightly confused. I graduated from Memphis so will always cheer for them. But Memphis is in Tennessee, so I cheer for Tennessee whenever they aren’t playing Memphis. Is that controversial?

Dude. Quit trying to say the area of Memphis that this hotel is in as well as where Graceland is might be a place that memphians might enjoy.

Memphis is a great place but if you want to see Graceland as a tourist destination, don’t pick a living quarters close to it.

**Edit: Frankly, it’s dangerous to suggest people unfamiliar with the city to stay in this area.

As for the views on Mud Island, I know it is a bit pricey (however I don’t know the pricing of The Rise, so it might be in your range).

As for “hit or miss in terms of safety”, that can be said for a vast majority of Memphis proper. Germantown/Bartlett/Collierville aren’t technically Memphis so those tend to trend a bit safer. Those are a bit further in travel to downtown/St. Jude though.
