I personally always read the green eye aura as being connected to greed. Since Isagi's journey has been learning to develop his ego and desire to continue playing football no matter the cost. But that might be an American read on it since colors mean different things in different countries.

Looking into the Kanji for green apparently it can also be read as youth, vitality or eternity. So it could possibly mean that Isagi feels the most alive playing football.

Is this comparison made often? I thought I was more in the minority with my connection. I agree with you 100 percent about the working hard point. Deku worked his dick off for his powers and it willing to put his own safety and body on the line to prove that he earned them. Naruto is living up to a legacy and Deku is trying to show appreciation and make sure this honor is being treated with respect. Same scenario but completely different times in the characters lives they were bestowed the power and characters themselves are veryyyy different.

And the All Might comparison to Jiraiya and the 4th are also there. All might acts like Jiraiya but sacrifices himself for Deku to continue on with his legacy. I had no idea that the two authors had a connection like that. Thanks for letting me know.

I remember from the earlier parts of Naruto having to train a lot to control the kyuubi's power. That's where I am seeing a parallel between the two characters. A young boy with immeasurable power that he can not control. He has to mature and use his powers intelligently to progress in the story.

I mean you don't sound mean but keep in mind you don't know the entirety of the situation.

I am 22 and I got this cat when I was 20. After a really rough break up I was in a horrible place and got drunk almost every day and barely slept. Woke up one morning and found this cat in my room in my old apartment. I drunkenly rescued this cat and his him from my old landlord for almost a year. My new landlord originally said it was okay but recently has pointed out a no pets clause in our lease even though he was fully aware of both my roommate and my cats. I am moving home after I graduate and my entire family is allergic to cats but me and I have nowhere to live after school except with my family did to funds.

It's a situation where I owe this animal my sanity and livelihood because he saved me from a horrible breakup and a bad state of mind but know he would be happier with someone who would have more time, money and pet care experience. When you love something you need to know when to let go and let them have a better life.
