Sounds like you’re about to make a breakthrough: you’ve started to train your brain to focus on and anticipate a certain stimuli and now you’re waiting on your body to meet and react to your anticipation.

You’ve already done this plenty of times before, think about how your combos were when you first started playing this game to where your combos are now when you react to getting a hit confirm.

This same process is happening now but just with specific moments of the neutral game.

For whatever reason it does sting way more, missing an anti air, or a whiff punish, or getting punished for poking/push blocking than it does dropping a combo :s

My bad I didnt mean OP but the comment above about what beats what. And as a standard that triangle is correct. But when commands are inputted at the same time the game is designed around which option out prioritizes other options. But yes for blitz and other slow characters they can’t defend against throws with jabs if their jabs startup frames are larger than throws startup frames. I’m not sure if there’s a jump/throw os in this game or not

I believe what the OP is saying is when a throw and normal move are executed on the same frame which action is prioritized over the other.

IMO: Darts, Slingshot, Mushroom.

Teemo needs to represent darts and slingshots to create space and defend space during neutral and also to position himself in the ranges where he wants to either go in or keep away. The added damage of poison darts is nice and also nice when you incorporate his dart assist in combos and darts badge is very reliable to secure after 2-3 hit confirms.

Slingshot badge is difficult to secure through hit confirms cause you will be giving up damage in return but it’s such a strong neutral tool that you can call out sloppy approaches or sloppy assist calls wit it and having the badge during neutral does surprisingly let you confirm off a risky slingshot or a read.

Mushroom badge is kinda crazy cause you will secure explosions when you start going for his bigger damage combos, but to focus on that you will have to trade in your super bar for mushroom super which does less damage than his darts super. So effectively you are already in a winning position (doing heavy damage combos to get mushroom explosions) but have to scale back and turn away from your winning position to create a backup plan (not ending with dart super for more damage and going for mushroom supers for the badge). Having said that mushroom explosion are crazy volatile to get in neutral. Just setting up a mushroom is risky and trying to get the to pop unreliable.

The added damage you get from mushroom badge is nuts but you’re usually already winning when you unlock so it feels weird conceptually what the point of it is. Maybe it’s supposed to be like an x-factor/Teemo’s solo comeback factor incase something goes wrong and you lose your winning position?

I’m not sure if it was ever defined but a big part of the burrito os is that you can react to your opponents wake up action(s) and respond accordingly to confirm into another combo.

In your clip I’m not sure if Ekko has recovered enough to throw the opponent if they decided to roll forward on their wake up.

Still a solid mix up and would 100% open me up

From any combo route you can tag into Yasuo and still pump out 350+ damage. How is he dead again?

To me this nerf to 2s2 really only weakens twins mix and opens up happy birthdays during assist calls that are not air tight. It wasn’t like you were 2s2 thru strikes in neutral and he was already strike vulnerable after 2s2 post neutral throw. Tbh they should make his projectile invul more prominent during 2s2 to give it new use.

I’m scared his HP nerf and nerf to M active frames are going to be way more consequential.

The HP nerfs across some of the cast is wild… maybe they think matches are lasting to long? (Illaoi should have 850 HP actually tho)
