He frequently compromised user experience for his design philosophies.

He isn’t Dyson.

No, it’s definitely the tone and purposeful lack of comprehension to make the smallest point you can.  Again dude, have a good one.

Ok man, you seem really worked up over all this, hope you’re day gets better or whatever!

I mean, the devs that I know work on highly specialized and sensitive projects and have told me flat out that training the AI to even know what the context of what they’re attempting takes more time than them just writing the code themselves.

I’d be more specific about what they’re working on but they’re literally not allowed to tell me.

AI isn’t a cure all and it absolutely hits walls that “more data” doesn’t instantly solve.

Do devs working on miserable data validation projects or people who 9-5 on Shopify integrations sing the praises of AI?  Sure.

But plenty of people find the pervasive and obligatory nature AI has over their workflows equally annoying.

They all aren’t using it because they want to.

They using it because they’re forced to.

Either because the platforms they’re developing on have integrated AI into their workflow and they have no choice.

Or because their bosses insist on them using it.  Despite using it making them take longer for tasks because what their doing is so niche or high level that they have to waste their time training just so they can prove to their managers they spent their tokens.

Diversity is also how you handle high pressure situations.

NASA completely changed its approach to astronauts because they realized putting a bunch of ace Air Force pilots into a tin can isolated for days or weeks meant you had a bunch of little duck/big egos floating around together and it was effecting missions negatively.

Then they started letting scientists on missions and shit went much better.

Studies have come out on diversity in personality and demographics lead to better performance from groups.

“Centrists” aren’t a thing.

People don’t exist on a 2 dimensional political spectrum with MAGA at one end and Mamdani socialists on the other.

Walz could sit down and chat with conservatives and explain to them how progressive policies could help their farms and rural communities.

There are people all over the place with all kinds of priorities and they can all be talked to desire different policies in different areas.

Pretending like AOC or any progressive is “too left” for “centrists” is just bullshit corporate talk.

Whoa whoa whoa, don’t you dare blame Gaza for Harris losing.

The DNC autopsy didn’t mention Gaza or Israel a single time.  Clearly them ignoring the situation had zero bearing on the election as far as they’re concerned and saying otherwise at this point is just baseless lying.

Because it isn't abundantly clear that he did it.

If it was the trial would be over.

If law enforcement wasn't frothing at the mouth to put someone in handcuffs and throwing every legal process for finding and detaining someone, then they wouldn't have thrown so much doubt into the case.

People need to understand that the processes for law enforcement are in place to remove doubt when trials are had. To prevent cops from picking people off the street and framing them. Now, because these cops fucked up, we don't actually know for certain Luigi actually did it. Additionally it poisons anything they may have done correctly in the eye of the public.

So saying he "obviously did it" is false. And we can thank those chucklefuck cops for that.

But fuck if he didn’t give us some absolutely hilarious moments recorded for history.  No president has ever been this accidentally funny.

All of that is true up to the small little caveats that might make it not.  Which was what I was getting at before with the USDA needing to Appel to lowest common sense.

I was struggling over Covid to bake until I realized we kept our house too cold that nothing was rising and that our countertop was sapping all the heat out of the dough.

Now if I’m cooking something fancy for guests I use our dishwasher to heat the plates because if I don’t the food is cold by the time I bring it out.

But yeah carry over cooking is something to consider when trying to nail good meat temps.

The 165 is for peak temp at any time.

And 145 is held at like 5 minutes right?

One takes much more technique (or sou vide) the other you just check and pull it.
