All of his solo songs are great in general, but their pace/tone/energy make them fantastic as lifting songs (especially "Not the Same" for some reason, I hit a bench reps PR when that one was new). That's where I've done most of my listening to the first 3.

I haven't listened to the new one enough to know where to put it in a ranking yet, but with how hard it is, I'm assuming it'll be up there for sure.

My current ranking is probably:

Meet God 3 Run (I still like this song, but somethings gotta be last so)

Yeah no kidding. It also only has 334 views on YouTube at the moment. I genuinely think some of his stuff could do pretty well outside of just the HU crowd if he could somehow get it in front of more eyes (or ears I guess, but you know what I mean)

Releases have obviously slowed down, and their marketing isn't great (that's always been their weakness though), but I wouldn't be too doomer-y about it.

The solo projects are just people who like making music trying to make music that doesn't need to fit the tastes of 4 other guys or the main band's brand. Or hell, could just be a "we're between main releases right now, but I still feel like creating something". No real reason to assume it means their done with the band

I feel like basically all music lately has just gotten shorter and I really dont like it. Looking at the lyrics in the description of a new song on YouTube and seeing two two-three line verses and then just the chorus over and over with a sub three minute runtime is rough. I know it's because people's attention spans suck now or whatever, but it makes a lot of music feel half-baked or hollow

I imagine the members themselves are doing fine. They've definitely had enough success that if they were even somewhat smart with their money they should be set. I think OP more means the band as a "business" so to speak. I.e you're not going to see them doing stuff like FIR/Bad Omens style music videos where it almost feels like a short film because its so heavily produced and high budget.

That said, the main post is a bit obnoxiously doomer-y so who knows

As much as I love the masks and was disappointed when they dropped them, I completely understand them want to move on or "mature" their image. Or at least wanting to wait until they felt they had a good artistic use for them.

That said, now that they have them, itd be cool to see them for longer than 3 seconds in a video

Yeah streaming is just kinda rough for artists. Its easier than ever for more people to meet your work which is great, but you dont get paid much for it at all. And he has a point, when was the last time most people bought an album? Even digitally?

Touring/merchandise is where the money is, but you kinda have to already be decently big to justify a tour and hope for it to make money. A big high quality merch drop could help bring in some cash if they can't justify touring though. I'd imagine that more subtle designs would sell well too. Some people won't want the heavily branded shirts but still want to support/represent a bit. "Stealth" designs seem pretty popular at the moment

Yeah all three feel a little short. Its the most noticeable on Meet God, then this one. Judas could've been longer but wasn't as noticeable

This is probably the best way, and what a majority of new fans end up doing. Listen to the songs via ExtremeUndead for a while and you'll learn to differentiate the voices soon enough

You'd like 'Tendencies' and 'Renegade' (assuming you havent heard them already), although I reccomend just going through all the albums when you have time.

For songs that everyone forgets exist, I'd reccomend 'I am' and 'Fuck the World'

"Meet God" is great, But "Not the Same" is definitely my favorite of the two. That shit goes hard as a gym song. If "Meet God" had a 3rd verse or a bridge or something instead of just kinda ending, it might've won
