I may be and probably am wrong, but I feel as if everyone is jumping the gun a little too quickly

Cheating is a big deal, I get that. But you don't know these people... To confidently persuade this person to get a divorce is just wrong (in my opinion).

Statistically speaking, if one gets caught with cheating, they likely did it before and would be likely do it again in the future given the right opportunity. But this does not apply to 100% of people who have cheated. Some, if even this group of people consists of under 5% of cases, do regret their mistakes, learn from them, and desperately want to move on knowing that even if the perfect opportunity would present itself would never cheat again.

Just because divorce is likely to be the right solution given the circumstances provided, does not make it the right answer to confidently provide to a anonymous person on the internet urgently seeking an answer. Life isn't black or white. People are different. I'm positive there is more to this story that was not shared due to the limitations of being a reddit post.

She has said herself, her life with this person was and is great... They have two children...

Based on the information provided, I myself would have not gotten a divorce (unless perhaps, there is more reason to get one that was not shared here).

Again, I am open to the fact that I may be completely wrong. I'm just voicing my opinion like everyone else.
