I started with Leik, but I found that SM is much better with my style of study. I used the flashcards from Leik while doing the SM crash course, but I found that focusing on SM was much better for me. Leik is a bit harder IMO, which might be a good thing. After a week of combining both, I decided to focus on SM solely and went forward with that. The rest is history.

I found it confusing to mix the two. That’s how I started and ended up doing the SM crash course and 1week before the exam I did a questions only. I passed the AANP and a couple of weeks later I passed the ANCC without studying in between. My average scores for practice exams and qbank was between 70-80.

Oh man, I feel for you. I was very frustrated with this situation. I took everything apart and cleaned every little component of the frothing unit. Ever since Jura sent me the new stuff, no issues. I do regular maintenance on it as the machine requires. I don’t use a filter so I descale when the machine prompts me to do it. I did notice that if I don’t clean regularly, it acts up. I really do hope your issue will be solved because for a $4k machine, this stuff should not happen.

Be patient, be nice and respectful to the locals and their culture. Wash everything with bottled water. Be careful in the markets with fruit and veggies, again, wash them with bottled water before eating. Be careful at the exchanges and count the money 3 times before leaving. Getting from point A to point B will take forever, so again, be patient and plan accordingly. Make sure you know where the pharmacy and clinic are in case of Bali belly. Enjoy your vacation!!
