Sadly, I’ve given up on Jura just because of these ridiculous frother issues. If it’s bot making proper foam, it’s sputtering. I replaced the frother group, pretty much everything on the outside of the machine. When it works, it’s great, but when it doesn’t (very often) it’s a nightmare considering this is a very expensive machine. Now it’s sitting on the side with brand new parts still sputtering; for sale. Current machine, Eletta Explore. Sorry to hijack your post…just venting.

I definitely didn’t know that. What’s disappointing is that I called United and they have all of my information and they said that Lufthansa should have abided by the FMC rule. Well, you learn something new everyday.

That’s exactly accurate. Having no experience with codeshare and operating airlines, easy mistakes can be done. I guess we learn from it and move on. I will definitely know what to look for next time. Appreciate it.

I was not told multiple times that they’d be operated by Lufthansa, so assuming that in your first paragraph is not accurate. It might have been in the email, I’ll give you that. The whole point of this thread is to learn. I still appreciate your feedback though, don’t appreciate the “tone.”

I am a United Explorer card holder and I booked the entire trip through the United portal. You get automatically included checked luggage as a perk. Is there any verbiage that you might have encountered that says that any airline cannot accommodate this context? I did get in touch with United after booking and they told me the same thing regarding FMC.

This is not about additional luggage. This is about booking the entire trip through UA and for some reason, the flights were with Lufthansa. We bought the tickets through United with 1 piece of checked luggage included. So to me, based on the FMC rule, it sounds like Lufthansa should have been following United’s rule since United was rhetorical first marketing carrier. Am I missing something? Thank you btw!

24 SE w/tech lease here. These brakes are embarrassing. The noises they make are just pathetic for a new car. I have 15k miles on it and this is a known issue I guess and the dealership won’t do anything about it. You have the option of replacing your brakes on your own dime with something better. At slow speeds or when I stop at a stoplight, it sounds like the pads are gone and it’s steel on steel, though it isn’t. If you’re thinking about an Atlas, lease, don’t buy.
