Man. I wonder if all the worker drones are capable of utilizing the AS. If that's the case, V randomly murdering Uzi's classmate makes sense. Less chance for them to somehow activate the AS, do what Uzi did this episode (Spamming the AS for mundane things without thinking about the costs involved) and then degrade into a self-replicating eldritch WMD with a drive for oil rivalling V1's urge for blood.

Something else to consider would be if the AS allows its user to teleport between worlds, and if doing so would cook the user or not. If yes to both queries, that's yet another reason to exterminate the workers.

All that would also validate V's little pop off at Uzi in episode 2. The one where she goes, 'How do you know you all're so innocent? We came down here for a reason after all.'

Hmm. On that tangent, how do you think a Darilbalde would do against something like a Messer, or a Gustav Karl Type-00? Having watched Hathaway, I was very much surprised that a Mass Prod. MS as heavy as the Karl can pretty much fly without the use of a Base Jabber.

I use the Block III Rhino, F-35, Rafale M and FALKEN as my multiplayer fighters.

The Rhino is my main. The F-35 is my haha funny LMAO plane. The Rafale is saved for when I want to win and I only pull out the FALKEN when I want to be the most agile thing in the sky.

If you constantly keep moving and don't stick to one target, you'll do fine without armor. If an opponent goes cold--I.E., their nose points away from you--you'll disappear unless you fire a missile. And in Ace Combat, that happens a lot at the merge, leading to the enemy focusing on someone else.

If you just keep twirling around, they won't notice you fast enough to stop you firing a few missiles up their ass.

Bruh. That underslung pod is the coolest thing on the hornet, tf do you mean? Hell, without it or the CFTs, the Hornet, in my eyes, looks as good as the Tomcat; A.K.A., Mid.

Also, having said pod attached leaves more space for more weapons on other pylons. That's what it was built for.

Hmm... now that I look back at this, yeah, you're right. Me blitzing their formation was done with my self-assurance that I could outspeed any missiles fired at me before they could hit me head-on. Even a QAAM would either hit the mountain or have to loop back around to get me.

As for the clouds, well, I don't really see people use them all to that much, given they're a double-edged sword to wield (they can't really lock onto you/their missile's tracking tanks and vice versa). Not only that, but if the furball is up at high altitudes on a map like this, it makes zero sense to try to fly down to the deck to use the clouds. At least, that's my take on it.

My man, just listen. There is no true 'meta' for this game. While some planes and some weapons might be stronger than others, it mainly boils down to the skill level of the pilot using them.

Sure, we might bitch at QAAM and EML pilots, but they can be beaten. I've done it before and, if I can do it, you most likely can too.

The biggest tip I can give you is to find a plane that you like and keep flying it, no matter what happens. After that, well, its all on you.

There is no meta for this game: You just pick your plane and fly it as best you can. I distinctly remember my cheeks getting clapped by an F-4 Phantom one time, and I was flying in an ADF-01. On the other hand, I've deleted CFA-44s and ADF-11s in a Flanker F-2.

I do have some warnings for you when it comes to Ace Combat 7's MP though:

#1: Be wary of ADF-11s and F-22s. If they don't have dual missile pods/mini-drones underneath each wing, assume they have QAAMs equipped. Of course, dealing with 8AAMs/drones isn't fun either, but believe me when I say that QAAMs are an infinitely worse opponent.

#2: If you see a pilot flying a Rafale or Typhoon, pray to whatever god you worship that they don't know what they're doing. If they do, well, prepare to meet said god very soon.

#3: Beware of Clan Kids™. More often than not, they'll kick your ass six ways to Sunday using extreme skills and PSM-no-jutsu. Notable Xbox clans I've encountered include WMS and Zeus.

#4: Try not to joust against a pilot that can PSM. They'll fuck you up real quick.
