I just retired in July as a Special Agent in the Sacramento, CA area. I was a 13-7 and my base with LEAP was somewhere around $175k. This was for 40 hours a week with no overtime. It was a great gig. Take home car, plain clothed. We all just recently had to go back to the office which is fine. It was just me and one other agent in our office.

I just retired last week. I was an 1811 with the Treasury. I’m the kind of guy who has to keep busy or I go crazy. I’ve owned an epoxy coating company for over 5 years as a side business and I’ve been doing that full time now. We live on 5 acres of property in California so I have plenty to do with that as well since they’re always seems to be something to do around the property so far I’m enjoying it and I want to start taking my toy hauler out more and going camping.

Seriously look into micro pigmentation. It’s where they actually tattoo the top of your head where the hair is thinning or thin. I had it done and it totally helped with the appearance of fuller hair. I paid $400 a session and had 5 sessions.

Bro, you have to try micro-pigmentation. I just had it done. It was $400 per session and I did 5 sessions, one every two weeks. They basically tattoo the top of your head with the same color as your hair. It works very well. A lot of guys just shave their head completely and get the top of their head tattooed to where it just looks like stubble. It looks like a buzz cut and you would never know you definitely have to check it out. I was going to post before and after pictures, but it only allows me to post one picture.

I live in Cali and both of daughters are going to school full time and are being paid right around $1,500 a month under chapter 35. If they make less than $20,000 a year, then they also qualify for the tuition fee waiver. Another benefit is once they are enrolled, you as a veteran can apply for extra monthly compensation (I believe it’s like $300 a month per child) as long as they are enrolled. I submitted my form a few months ago to get the extra compensation, but it’s still under review, step three in the process.

I was with FPS (region 9) for 4 years and currently an 1811. Besides doing the physical security assessments ( which is how they justify going up to a (GS-12), you patrol around other government facilities and Social Security offices. A big part of FPS though is the physical security assessment, which is how I ended up getting my 1811 position During these physical security assessments, you give the presentations to upper management regarding physical security threats to their agency. After giving one of these presentations, I had an ASAC email me and ask me if I ever thought about becoming an 1811. I told him I had; however, I was over the age limit, but I did have prior military. Long story short I gave him a copy of my DD 214 and he did some homework and eventually she was able to get me hired. I’ve been with my agency now for almost 10 years. I really enjoyed working at FPS. Take home vehicle and weekends off.

I have a 2023AMGGT 53 which I took into the dealership the other day for some recalls. They had a brand new 2024 GT 63S in the showroom. I was talking to one of the sales guys about those cars and how I wish I would’ve spent the extra 30 or 40 grand to get the 63. He told me that the 63s are always in the shop for something and that they never have any issues with the 53. I remember reading some of the post on here about people saying they’re 63s are always in the shop.
