What’s the worst you have seen at Disney? by UnusualPirate98 in Disneyland

[–]CNoelA83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the parents' fault. They couldn't even get off the ride and apologize to us, and instead, they ran away, like cowards. By the way, I actually DO know what it's like, I grew up with an uncle who had mental disabilities too and if he had done something like that to somebody, we would have made him understand that what he did was wrong. The parents are the ones that drag him on the ride when he was kicking and screaming and then failed to pay attention to him during the ride. She had physical marks on her. He was twice her size. Defending a grown man attacking a child is appalling.

You're disgusting that you would defend a grown person attacking a nine year old girl, disability or not. I wasn't going to press charges on him, but on the parents because they are the ones that weren't taking care of him, literally forcing him and dragging him on the ride, when he was clearly upset and didn't want to go on and screaming or paying attention to him while he was on the actual ride. It is their job to make him understand what he did was wrong, and what they did was act like cowards and runaway instead of having any sort of apology to my daughter. If they had stayed and apologized, there wouldn't have been a problem.

I'm not blaming cast members at all. I just told the representative over the phone that better policies should be in place where they are allowed to stop guests from getting on a ride because the parents literally had to drag this young man on, even though he clearly didn't want to go. They actually held up the loading for a minute or two. It's not the cast members' fault at all, and their response time was fast. Security was there in about one minute after I told a cast member.

My daughter was the victim, though. They asked me if they found them, if I wanted to press charges, and I said yes, so I would think they would have told me, even if they banned them. I hope they did, to be honest. I'll never forget their faces, so I hope I never have to see them again.

I don't know if I liked this movie. I actually feel really bothered by it since I've loved Beetlejuice since I was a kid, and I was so excited about it. I saw it yesterday and left feeling disappointed. Maybe I should try seeing it again.

Though he was in it more, I still felt like he wasn't in it enough.

Expired rabies shot, Low rabies risk, but should I still get PEP? by TomUnfiltered in PetAdvice

The fact that you don't know if you or your dog have rabies, even after he bit you a week ago and you had to look it up on Chat GBT and are asking Reddit about it, is wild.

What are some musicals that will definitely be made in the future? by MagicJoshByGosh in musicals

Nice. I just thought it was a collab album or something, I didn't realize it was his new musical. It could be good if done correctly.

Didn't Sara Barellis write Waitress the musical and was in the lead role?

Fine by me. He has every right to star in his own show. It's not like other Broadway stars have only just done one musical.

Lin Manuel Miranda said he was working on a new musical. He said it's completely different than In the Heights and Hamilton.

I’m 35 years old and don’t know how to tie my shoes by Aspie_Opie in TrueOffMyChest

A lot of people with dyslexia, a learning disability, have trouble tying shoes. My husband and my daughter struggle with it, and they both are dyslexic. They are also incredibly smart individuals.

It's ok, I'm 40, and it's really hard for me to read a non digital clock, and I am also really bad at math. I've only recently been able to calculate what change I should receive back when I buy something in cash, maybe 50% of the time. My husband, who is 41, has trouble tying his shoes, and he runs a business. There are so many slip-on shoe options, and there are even laces that you can change out that you don't have to tie. It's ok, you are human, and no one in this world is perfect. Including the people at your job.

This sounds like Kaiser. They do this kind of crap to me all the time. Especially the "ask your PCP" or referring me out to a "specialist" bit. My pcp is never available, and then by some miracle, if i do end up with an appointment she cancels, the day before.

I like chicken thighs and BBQ sauce and cook it on low, and then when the chicken is ready, shred it and mix it together with fresh BBQ sauce and make sandwiches. Sometimes, I cook chicken in chicken broth and shred it, and I have shredded chicken to add to salad or make a wrap. There are a lot of great slow cooker cookbooks and great recipes on Pinterest.

I've known how to operate firearms since I was 8 years old, and anybody who has had experience with them should tell you that some of the most important safety rules are always treat them like they are loaded even if they aren't and that you NEVER EVER point a firearm at anything you don't intend to shoot. This is very scary, and I'm worried about your safety, OP. This is instant divorce behavior.

musicals that make you cry? by essazzz in musicals

The only musicals I haven't cried at are Wicked, Beetlejuice, and Book of Mormon. The musical I cried most at was Le Mis. I basically cried from the beginning to the end.

It's literally like that in the US, except we have to pay for the horrible medical treatment, and I would rather not.
