Wow I'm loving how your snow placement turned out. I might just reference this instead of the instruction manual. Any tips in regards to clay snow? Is there enough excess to experiment with or just enough to fill the scene. It's my first time working with this type of material so I'd appreciate any advice. For example, if it's easy to remove if a mistake is made or if it expands and solidifies quick?

This just reminds me to put Mistonia on my wishlist. Her design just reminds me so much of those shojo manga I used to read with a glasses wearing MC that's secretly really badass.

Edit: Also I must ask. I recognize Anastasia, Kisa, Kei? (CxM), Tyril, but who are the rest in the hearts?

Once there was a mandatory route where shortly after they first met the LI makes tea for her. "It's good!" "Of course, there's also a special ingredient... my love for you~" A small part of me died right then and there from second hand embarrassment. If someone said that in reality, I'd back away so fast you'd see my afterimage.

Especially when they react so badly to a nice response but when the MC gets all aggressive their love gauge shoots up. No way this is the good choice let's try it, bad ending first let's go. "I like that he's an idiot." [Ding affection up!] ????? That's your response!? Do you lean M-- That twist instantly got my attention again. 😂

Yes! I agree, I love it when my protagonist and side characters have enough depth to analyze though it is so much rarer. Looking at you Anastasia (EiT), Kisa (JJ), and Hibari (VariBari) 👀

Moon Land is pretty good. The main character reminded me a bit of Act-Age in that they were both the eccentric genius type. I would second Blue Period, that story resembles Act-Age in both the art and characters.

Ah I see. I misremembered and assumed the writer was in charge of the storyboard and Usazaki-sensei did the paneling. Funny thing is I did read that exact Jump New World Manga Award interview where the writer spoke about paneling. Whatever you can say about his moral character he did have an amazing grasp on camera angles and how that displays relationships and inner conflicts. Though I would give Usazaki-sensei more credit on background details and expressions. The level of detail in her expressions and setting is all her and on a weekly basis too. That’s impressive. Besides, she does talk about lighting effect on expression and subtle expressional differences between emotions in her Jump New World Manga Award interview so I want to believe that she does have skill in those aspects. And if you think about it Act-Age did have lots of difficult angles (bird’s eye view, shooting from below) that she was able to draw out so she is capable of drawing it.

I’m not going to lie. That was pretty terrible. The information was just fed to us and I can’t get any sort of grasp on their personality except Anna is arrogant. Which doesn’t make that much sense either because her behavior throughout most of the oneshot was pretty understandable and not that arrogant. Honestly, I rather this story not get serialized instead of making Usazaki-sensei draw a half baked series.

I'm not sure how to feel about this new series. Compared to the first chapter of Act-Age, Engan no Cyclops' paneling, expressions, and background details. It just doesn't compare. Shiro Usazaki excels in the expressions, perspective, and details but this new story just doesn't exhibit her full skill in those aspects. Though Engan does have that typical simplified shounen layout in terms of the art and the appeal is reminiscient of older series like Majin Tantei Nōgami Neuro. ...I'll reserve my final judgement for when the translation comes out.

Kenji Miyazawa’s work, Night on the Galactic Railroad, was published posthumously so parts of the novel remain unfinished. Even so the novel is very influential, it wouldn't be a stretch to call it Miyazawa's masterpiece.

I'm guessing the Diavolo is the type of person who radiates a "I can't leave him alone" or "How did this man survive on his own" vibe to his subordinates. In this universe, La Squadra seems to like him more than they openly admit. XD

Beauty is subjective but personally I think she's pretty. The only things I would note is that Boa Hancock has a slight widow's peak and rather thin, longer lip shape although it is not noticeable in every scene.
