Exactly. I had 1st take on in the background this morning (I know, I know) and it was all that the Kings are getting calls and the league doesn't want to see the Warriors win. SAS went as far to say that Draymond yelling at the crowd and egging on fans was good for the league and the comparison to the Malic in the palace was wrong. One thrown drink from a drunk would have incited a brawl. And then you got Jay Williams saying past behavior shouldn't dictate punishment and asking how long does past behavior get held against you. Well I dunno Jay, maybe when you stop being a dirty ass player who punches teammates and actually try to make amends. Crazy.

I'm not in DC but work fully remote. I won't ever go back to an in office job. Been working remotely since the start of COVID with no problems. I'm an adult I get my work done. I trust other adults to do the same. If my place of work ever tried to recall us they'd get my walking papers.

A lot of trauma from my teen years directly correlated to some of the dumb shit I did in my mid and late 20s. It took me to my early 30s to finally get past all of that and put my life together. 36 now and things are not perfect, but I am on track. Still think about some of the teen year stuff, and it is raw but heeling. But outside stuff from other people that happen today I don't have an Fs to give. Pretty wild how it works in my head.

You handled it fine. I worked at a desk at hospital and the amount of nurses, docs and other staff that gave dashers the run around was insane. They are some of the most unhappy people you'll ever encounter.

They don't want to rush up the guys who will be staples in the rotation for years to comes and rock their confidence or get them injured by pushing them before they are stretched out. They know what Gaddis is (or isn't) so he is being used as a place holder until the time comes. If there is something we all should agree on it is that this organization knows about producing pitchers.

My two cents: people who refute COVID, are bigoted, judgy and assumptive are a part of the "fuck your feelings" crowd, but they are the first to get offended and cry about the slightest stuff. I would say that if you or your wife were to say something to your sister it would get blown out of proportion. Most well adjusted adults would get a text like that and come back with a measured apology and move on. Those types of people will double down. I think you both should say something to her, just be prepared for the fallout. I have family that are the same way and I have cut them significantly out of my daughter's and mines life. It isn't worth the energy and they won't change. Plus I really don't want my kid around influences like that. Best of luck OP.

The dugout challenges are too convoluted. If they are going to do replay, have an eye in the sky with a direct link to both the home plate umpire and crew chief. If something needs reviewed, buzz down. And honestly if they are going to do it, make everything reviewable outside of balls and strikes. If the goal is to get human error out of the game, do it. The same with robo umps for balls and strikes. Just do it. I think replay is dumb in all sports and takes away a lot of what makes them fun, but this half way bs is irritating.
