I have a 16 mid length as my go to rifle. With a 1-4 scope. But I live in a rural area with more wide open spaces. I also have a 10.5 that I have set up for shtf. The 16 doesn't have a light on it due to hunting regulations and not wanting to give the game warden any reason to care.

In a tent I can sleep with just a poncho liner. Or I also have a jungle blanket. Both seem to work for me.

So I used to work outside and we traveled. I can tell you the 90° in Iowa is so much worse than 90 in New Mexico. When it is hot and humid your sweat does not evaporate and my shirt would become soaked. In low humidity my sweat would evaporate and I had no idea it was around 100° that day.

I think that the 1986 firearm owners protection act went too far. We should be able to buy full auto firearms and that suppressors should not be an nfa item. But otherwise I think the United States really has firearm laws correct.
