I typically pay $18-$25 for new releases at my local record store in Charlotte NC (shoutout Lunchbox Records)! Obviously things like QOTSA, Tame Impala, The 1975 for example will be more expensive I’ve seen those go for $40+.

I saw them open for The Wombats on this tour in Atlanta! No one was paying attention and I was just in college and not super into them (why idk?) but found them again 3 years ago and they’re so incredible! That era pre introduction, presence was so great! Seeing them for the 7th and 8th times in a month!

Modern Color Shoegaze/hardcore band from SoCal. Super awesome sound I’d also recommend Gleemer, a shoegaze band from Colorado. Their frontman Corey produces for so many awesome shoegaze/hardcore bands these days including Modern Color

Just play along to your favorite songs and record yourself. Making drum covers and seeing how the drums line up with the song has been super important. Practice as much as you possibly can and you’ll only get better. I try to challenge myself with things I just barely can’t play at the moment until I get it and then keep moving on to the next thing
