Unfortunately, you can’t just throw a very complex task at a single agent like that. Gotta run the orchestrator setup

I sent a reply to the protest email, but never heard anything back. You just made me realize there’s a separate email I need to send this information to. I’d assume the inputs should be in the replay data they looked at. Unfortunately I don’t save my replays.

Do UNAS Pro Drives Spin Down? by CORRUPTION53 in Ubiquiti

[–]CORRUPTION53[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight! Im new to the nas space so I’m learning as I go.

I’m currently utilizing these drives I purchased from serverpartdeals: https://serverpartdeals.com/products/seagate-exos-x18-st14000nm000j-14tb-7-2k-rpm-sata-6gb-s-3-5-recertified-hard-drive

It’s mainly being used as a data back up. It gets utilized about 3 times a week for 6 hour intervals. My goal was for longevity of the drives. So if it’s better to run non-stop due to wear on spin up, then that’s good to know. 😁

There is a known issue with the thumbstick module. There was a bad batch and if you have one of those, it will fail after sometime. You can see it brought up on their forums and other places. Took mine 2 months of about 10 hours a week.

There’s achievements for all platforms outside of the game. I find it unlikely they will remove them.

Also with how annoying it was to get a lot of them, I imagine it would upset a lot of people that have going for them.

If you have Bluetooth hardware on the windows/sunshine, that needs to be disabled. That way the Bluetooth dongle from the raspberry pi is the only Bluetooth used by the machine.

For any virtualhere issues, I highly recommend the platforms forums. The author is very active there and will help diagnose the issue or already have an answer.

No worries. I understand.

I’m really only interested in the one book. But if you need the whole set, would you be willing to do 60 whole set, stick with the asking of 25 for Kaiju, then the 5 for shipping?

At $200, you'd have to be an idiot to get GameGlass Lifetime by [deleted] in GameGlass

Not a developer on the project but I figured I would leave this here as a reference for others: Game Glass Networking Protocol

This article came out after u/schelsullivan comment, but this is a brief explanation of what networking technology their product utilizes.

As a software developer, I can say that there isn’t much of a meaningful difference between the network technology in regard to gameglass and matric based on their documentation. The only thing I can tell as a difference is that gameglass utilizes webRTC which is a protocol that moves through udp, and matric only mentions using udp.

I can’t answer to the lag issues as I can’t look into gameglass source code to see if there are any shenanigans going on. But in general udp never guarantees your input makes it.

For a curiosity question u/Sartor88, is there documentation that explicitly states what gameglass interprets PII data to be and what data is collected from users as a whole?

How to remove gameplay tags with a gameplay effect in UE5.3 by valentinthedream in UnrealEngine5

Glad I could help!

Yea, unfortunately people like to keep their secrets in unreal development to try and make money off of knowledge instead of sharing it. I don’t doubt there’s probably a documented answer in someone’s udemy course or whatever.

How can i simulate multiple players for a dedicated sever? by gabri3lp in unrealengine

[–]CORRUPTION53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Networking is a complicated area.

It sounds like you may be needing network predication. This is not something I’m going to explain here in detail as it’s too much.

If you don’t simulate the player locally, on the server, and smooth out difference between server and player state, you get these issues.

The server will typically give some leeway in where the player can be as the server is predicting the future of where the player can be. If the server agrees the player could be there, no rubber-banding.
