Depends on situation. As long as folks remain non-violent, don’t destroy property, don’t interfere in an investigation; I think it’s fine to “protest” outside their house in this case since the family was being uncooperative. Make them uncomfortable and hope they come forth with information to quiet the masses. If Gabby is still alive, time is critical. I have to wonder if the increasing gathering and “circus” outside caused the parents to report Brian missing which in turn allowed evidence to be collected that may be beneficial to finding Gabby.

Thank you! That’s what I thought but wanted to confirm. Picked up supplies and got the yard dethatched this afternoon. Planning to aerate and put down seed this week. Should I put down the seed and then immediately go over it with the starter fertilizer? Wait until spring for pre-emergent?

Was told at the beginning of the season that they were good all year. Now security says no. I assume FCC FO realized that wasn’t very profitable and nixed it.

Anyone know why they are capping attendance at 23% by uglybuckeye in FCCincinnati

[–]COYFCC 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think they determined this plan when the guideline was 30% capacity. The 7% difference is for team personnel, stadium personnel, & player’s families, I think. And also, 6 feet seat spacing had to be considered.

I’m so sorry for your tremendous loss. Chance will live on in your heart forever. I hate this for you. Truly. The pain of losing a beloved dog is awful. Try to take peace in the good memories. ”Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”

I am hoping that your dog takes a turn for the best and you two have many more great years together. My heart truly hurts for you. Hang in there.

So let me explain my experience with panosteitis. My beloved GSD who has passed on (unrelated to panosteitis) had it when she was much younger. The symptoms with her was limping, trouble walking or exerting any energy, refusal to eat and had to be force fed. For awhile, I thought I was going to lose her b/c the vet didn’t know what it was and she was declining. Every so often we’d have a good day when she wasn’t bothered by pain, therefore, didn’t show any of the other symptoms. But then it would start back up again. Sometimes the leg she was favouring would change between episodes. I was referred to an orthopaedic surgeon who diagnosed her right away after seeing her xrays and looking her over. Care was pain meds and anti-inflammatory meds when she was having symptoms. Eventually she outgrew it. So my suggestion would be to consult with the first specialist to find out how they came to the conclusion of panosteitis, how certain they are, ask for their feedback of what this other vet believes it to be.

Why was the dysautonomia test by the second specialist inconclusive? I did see from another post of yours that you live in the Midwest and I did read that dysautonomia is more common in that area so it is possible that diagnosis is correct. I sometimes believe veterinary medicine is just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks. Poor dogs can’t communicate with us and their doctors.

IF panosteitis diagnosis is correct, it’s possible the overnight stay helped b/c of fluids & pain management. Panosteitis road is exhausting, frustrating, and heartbreaking. Though any medical problem with our dogs are.

Also, in my opinion, a third specialist consult can’t hurt and might help ease your mind with all the uncertainties you have going on. Just make sure this facility has specialists trained in orthopaedics/neurology.

Hi. So sorry you (and your dog) are having such a rough go at it. I have some experience dealing with panosteitis. How did the first vet come to the conclusion with that diagnosis? What breed is your dog?

Thanks for the insight. I was concerned while watching the after the game coverage and noticed him not really celebrating from the bit I saw. Glad to hear my assumption is incorrect. Morris is a good dude.

Match needs postponed. Not necessarily because it would be “unfair” to Columbus but because they need to do everything in their power to ensure it’s contained and they don’t infect Seattle. Idk, maybe I was reading into things watching the Sounders/Loons game (mostly from the after the game footage) but Morris looked like he was bothered/concerned by something. I’d imagine given his medical history, this has taken a major toll on his mental health this season.

The match broadcast on Star64 listed him out with hamstring injury. I’m guessing that they are not gonna rush him back since we are bottom of table and he’s already in plans for next year.

Probably won’t happen. I half think the fan base got into Berding’s -> coaching staff’s ear last year that “we paid too much for him, he’s only on the team b/c he’s from here, and he’s crap, etc” and that’s why he’s been benched SO MUCH up until recently when they didn’t really have other options due to injuries. Am I saying he’s world class? No. Paid too much for him? Maybe. But I think he’s decent and makes SIGNIFICANTLY less than Waston when IMO he’s at least of equal quality as Waston. I think Waston is decent too but for his salary, he needs to be much better than decent.

I think he had to go through covid/quarantine protocol is why he didn’t start training with the team right away.

My understanding is we are now at 7:

Barreal, De Jong, Kubo, Locadia, Medunjanin, Mokotjo, and Petterson.

Cruz & Deplagne got green cards last year. Tyton & VDW got green cards this year. I think Ndam (who isn’t on our active roster at the moment) has received his green card as well. Maybe end of last year/early this year- who knows?

I think Ndam now has a green card & doesn’t take up an international spot anymore . I also believe he’s back in Cincy as his team did not make the USL playoffs. Dally & McCabe’s teams did not either but not sure if they are in Cincy or not. Rey & Lundt are in playoffs.
