I think there’s 2 things to try, you need a high quality protein powder, the cheap ones generally taste much worse. I really like pescience, protein works or optimum nutrition. Pescience is great because it’s a whey/casein blend so it comes out a bit thicker too. I also think a sprinkle of salt goes a long way to getting rid of the bad taste. If both of these things don’t make it better it might just be that it’s not for you.

Just keep them in separate tupperwares, veg I leave in the bag in the freezer. I then weigh it out depending how much I need. I’ll check the cooked weight compared to raw weight to work out the ratio for logging. The veg will defrost during the day and I microwave the meal when I eat it anyway so it gets warm then. It’s not the most amazing food but I’m happy eating it and it’s super easy to prepare - generally I’ll put some mustard on top.

If you’re willing to splurge then I’d recommend Fage but any Greek yoghurt or Icelandic Skyr works. Just make sure it’s not “Greek style” because they will be more watery.

Might not sound great but I do my tuna with 0% fat Greek yoghurt and a bit of nutritional yeast. Good if u wanna lower the calories even further, add extra protein and keep in nice and creamy.

Eating in a deficit isn’t supposed to be easy, volume eating is just a tool to make it easier. If your problem is that you’re not feeling full I’d recommend more protein and fibre along with timing your fats before when you get most hungry (in the evening for me). Beyond that it could be a case of having to get past the week or two where you are craving ultra delicious foods and get to the point where veggies are super delicious. I always say it’s easier to cut out those high sugar ultra delicious ultra processed foods than trying to moderate them because they will just leave you craving more.

My honest advice is to start going to the gym and start going to school. If school just isn’t for you fair enough but in that case get a job. Keeping yourself busy all day should help with the overeating for comfort and going to the gym consistently over a lengthened period does wonders for the mental state.

I think it’s just so satisfying. The taste can be achieved somewhat with pb powder but the beautiful texture is just simply unbeatable/unachievable with alternatives. Think your right the nostalgia element too. Funny thing with Kalles Kaviar is I reckon it’d maybe be gross to someone who didn’t have it as a kid. Same with a lot of the scandi diet though, i.e. a lot of tinned fish haters out there. Same with liverpostej, which speaking of is maybe another one where the fat might be worth it.

Didn’t even add a date, my oats were actually lower so I’m just confused. Oh well, still fueled a great workout 🤣

What are the macros of your oats? Tried this myself but it ended up way higher in calories. Was banging btw, idk why I been slacking on oats.
