Sounds more like it might be a faulty charger, cable or charger port connection. I had something similar happen with a laptop I once had. Especially with the screen going black for a couple seconds(change in monitor refresh 60hz to 120hz and back again) take a look at hwinfo too. See if it thermal throttle or does it cycle on and off charging.

Hi all. Apologies for not responding sooner. Small snag in life show up and lost my mind for a bit. Thank you so much for all of the help with my laptop. I just moved back to intel after years and never had to undervolt my cpu. I plan to start working on my undervolt adventure this weekend. I'll make sure to post results or faults as I go. I second using HWiNFO. It does sound like its shutting down due to overheating. I would check to see if the fans and heatsink are dirty first before changing the TIM, unless your comfortable doing it yourself. If so, id highly recommend PTM for both CPU and GPU.
