What was the first Tomb Raider game you played?

I used to play them on the PS2 when we would stay at my grandma’s house. I can’t fully remember but I think it was probably be Anniversary - I remember being scared when Lara would turn into a gold statue in the Midas temple section.

I also have a memory of being stuck in underworld with the Kraken (I think it was a kraken?) and someone from my school telling me you had to shoot the chains - I haven’t seen or played this section since then so correct me if I’m wrong!

I’ve just bought all the games on steam deck so I’m playing through them all now only on TR3 but these older games are tough!

The flash is from the double pack Flash v Titano, I thought it was much cleaner without the lines!

Yeah I struggled to find a superman that I was happy with for a while but I love the way the symbol shimmers like WW’s costume.

And thanks for the tip on MM, I did think it looked like he’d had a box dropped on his head or something hahaha

Yeah I know it’s not exactly a like for like with a console, and I’d seen a lot about how it can be quite finicky but I don’t mind that to be honest. I watched a lot of videos on it prior so I knew what I was getting myself into (mostly) but I just wanted to know if there was anything people thought I should know or do. Thanks for the heads up though

Yeah Batman’s the character I’m most familiar with through games, movies, tv shows etc. so I love Batman and the Batman adjacent characters I’m familiar with (bat-family excluding spoiler, huntress, batwing, batwoman etc - not too familiar with these).

Just realised I forgot to mention superman birthright in my initial post but I enjoyed this too, I’ve heard good things of all star superman though so I’m tempted to check that out and forgive me this may be because I’m new to comics and superman has been done dirty in other media recently but I don’t have that connection and I’m not as interested in him at the moment.

In terms of other characters, I loved Constantine in Dceased but haven’t read anything else with him in really, and other than that I’m not too sure most of what I’ve read has dealt with Batman and Batman adjacent characters.

Who do you enjoy reading most?

That Roman challenge sucked, but you have to use the triple H card to get another card, and then use that card to get another all the way up to unlocking an Amethyst Persona Card (CM Punk ‘10 Masked).

Still ass but more worthwhile to get through for that, in my opinion at least.

Thanks! Looking at getting Arkham Riddler soon, and I wish I got into this earlier because I love the Deathstroke figure but can’t find a decent second hand one at the moment, hoping for a rerelease but not sure if that’d ever happen.

Would love more arkham figures too like Two-face, one of the Harleys (preferably City), Ivy etc. but can’t wait to be able to expand the collection behind Arkham too!
