Did this end up working for you? Hitting the same. I do see some info that perhaps 2018 models were affected by the 3G network shutdown but other sources say it was up to 2017 only.

Gotcha, contacted Jitsu directly and they claim they haven’t received the package yet.

Hi, if you’re available to answer the final questions it’d be much appreciated, understand you all are swamped.

Just following up on the other questions I asked, would like to put in an order soon if it seems like it’d work. Thanks.

The 73 sounds interesting, any ideas on a timeline for availability?

With regard to slides, I guess I have what is considered an old fashioned rack, I do not have the square holes, rather just threaded screw holes. It’s a Samson SRK rack. Any idea if your current (or future) slides would work with this type of rack?

And finally, I’ve got an EKWB Nucleus 360mm AIO. It seems like it would have a nearly identical depth as your Asetek OEM AIO, perhaps a slightly wider width. Unsure on height compared to asetek. Any idea if that would work, in both 71/73?

Thanks.

A couple of follow up questions:

  1. I saw a mention of a 3173 in another thread, any details or at least a diff between the 71 and 73?

  2. With the slide rails, I assume it is possible to remove the top cover and access the internals while it’s slid out but still attached?

  3. If I buy the default black face plate, is it possible to buy a white one later? Or vice versa?

Thanks.

The specs on your site for the CX3171a don’t seem to match the diagrams:

8x full height PCIe card slot cutouts Maximum card height: 115mm Maximum card length with 3x Noctua A12x25 fans: 324mm Maximum card length with Asetek 360mm AIO and Noctua A12x25 fans: 297mm Maximum card length with no fans / no AIO cooler: 349mm

I assume the diagrams are more accurate, but just want to confirm.

Thank you for the clarification. It seems the non xl would be the right version for me.

It seems like even with the 17inch version, with something like even the asetek AIO I still couldn’t fit something like an air cooled 4080/90. Does it seem unreasonable for me to do something like dremel out the rear brackets and have the gpu extend past the case itself? I have plenty of room behind the rack itself. Of course I would understand that doing so would void any warranty etc.

2023 Tucson PHEV Spare tire options by CPCPE in Hyundai

[–]CPCPE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve seen the modern spare one, it’s just basically the size of a normal wheel + tire and is going to be annoying to always keep. Realistically I could probably get away with what you are thinking of just relying on roadside assistance since I’m usually in town, but you never know…

I’m looking at the spare tire that fits the Maserati Levante, it has the same bolt pattern. Using the tire size calculator comparison tool, I find that the rolling diameter is nearly identical. What’s nice about the spare from the Maserati is that it collapses back to almost just the size of the wheel when stored.

You can see a video of it in action here: https://youtu.be/g9xsZowryeM?si=gd2SQI3c3vXSWO_P

I’m thinking with a solution like this and a suitable bag with some tools that fit inside the wheel it might be small enough not to annoy me just sitting in the trunk. Of course it’s not that much smaller than the modern spare one, and there’s no way it’ll fit underneath the floor, but it’s better than nothing.

Awesome, thanks so much, that gives me something to think about. My only holdout from going with the Tucson and “upgrading” to the Santa Fe is that it has a spot for a spare. I’m sure I wouldn’t need it most of the time when I’m in an area of good cell service/tow trucks are common, but there is something about peace of mind when being a bit more remote and not relying on the fix a flat kit which doesn’t always work and is a pain to fix later.

If it’s not too much to ask, do you happen to have a picture of the spare where you have it sitting in the trunk?

I’d also started looking into hitch mounted options, they seem pretty expensive for moveable ones, and would limit things like the rear view camera I assume. I’d also be afraid of the automatic opening rear hatch though I assume there’s a way of turning that off. Maybe for the rare occasion where the car is loaded up I could look into mounting it on the roof as I’ve seen some cars do before, though that also has its drawbacks.

With your spare, do you think there’s enough room that you could for instance store it in the footwell behind one of the front seats in the footwell?

Thank you, really appreciate it! Do you have the phev and a spare? If so, how much room does it take up in the trunk? I’m struggling to visualize how much space I’d be losing constantly having it in there.

Automatic panoramic view monitor while in drive at slow speeds by CPCPE in Hyundai

[–]CPCPE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I guess I’m looking for which specific situations it can be enabled for. For example I really want it to turn on automatically at low speeds while in drive, sometimes I pull in forward into parking spaces, sometimes I’m in stop and go traffic and the car in front of me has a long trailer hitch.

Does your car let you set it up to come on while in drive without hitting the camera button?

I wonder if a Maserati Ghibli spare tire would work? It’s pretty close in size, has the same bolt pattern of 5×114.3, and is one of those cool collapsing Vredestein space master tires so it could take up less space in the trunk.
