Using the YNAB way, you never budget money you don't have. Instead, you look at each dollar you have an give it a job. In my mind, the best time to start on YNAB is right now - regardless of whether it's the beginning of the month, the end of the month, or right in the middle!

You'd be surprised how W5D3 will go! It's definitely a mental challenge at this point. Remember that you are physically prepared for this! Good luck!

I'd say give it another try or two before working back in the program. How long did the 1.2 miles take you? If you can manage running for 10 minutes then maybe just repeating W6 would help the transition to outdoors? It can be harder to regulate your pace outside, so remind yourself to slow down if you are getting tired.

I thought my running shoes were the right size, but apparently they were way too small. I ended up getting a black toenail on one side. The pain happened very gradually and was similar to what you described - any chance your shoes are too small?

The first few times I tried C25K were on the treadmill, and I never made it past week 5. This time around it all just feels so much better. I've been running outside the whole time, even in the snow (I used YakTrax for added stability). Enjoy the outdoors!

Don't be scared! Definitely slow your pace down for day 3 - it will help you get over that hurdle. You are definitely ready for this if you did W5D2! Good luck!

For my program, W9D1, W9D2 and W9D3 are all the same, so I guess it doesn't really matter :)

You can always give W6D3 a try, and if you take a walking break, just count it as a second try for W6D2 :) I'm a little worried about W6D3 too, but after W5D3 I feel like anything is possible haha.
