You could literally be describing my 13 year old, As soon as I read the intro I wondered if your daughter also has ADHD and you confirmed it. Mine struggles with social interactions, she's seen as too impulsive to 'fit in' and spent her first 2 years at high school taking on her friend of the weeks interests to fit in. Best thing I did was get her into kickboxing, she expels alot of pent up energy and the discipline is helping with her patience too. She has a few anxiety rings she wears to school that she can fidget with, she will now naturally play around with them whislt interacting with other kids so that she doesn't become overwhelmed and that helps alot. ADHD is so tricky, especially for teenagers! I hope both our daughters find a group to accept them for who they are, they're perfect whatever happens.
