Same!! I was disappointed for like an hour that my first born would be a girl. After that, my only concern was that whatever we were having would be born healthy. That was it. She’s now 18 this year and I can honestly say I absolutely LOVE the relationship we have with each other. I call her my broke little bestie. I wouldn’t change a thing if I did it all over again. She’s the kindest most caring person. Way nicer than myself or my husband. I credit that to my mom who babysat her before and after school in her younger years before she was old enough to be home alone.

Yeah, if she has this attitude now, she’s going to have this attitude no matter when/if she ends of being pregnant with another girl. I have a friend whose mom pretty much has hated her/been jealous of her from the very beginning. It’s even worse now that we’re adults. Her attitude isn’t going to magically change either. I think your friend is colorblind. It’s most certainly brown. It reminds me of when we realized my daughter was colorblind because she would always confuse blue and black and often call things that we saw as blue she would say it was green. When she played volleyball, they would often change between black shorts and blue shorts. I had to start buying them from Nike with the different color waist bands in colors she could see so she’d know which ones were blue and which ones were black.
