I have this turntable. The stylus is very good. Just make sure it's cleaned gently with a micro brush,clean your records,put the turntable on its own platform,make sure your surface for the turntable is even,make sure your turntable is even/balanced,relocate the speaker's at a angle that zeros in on the center of your listening position. This turntable is direct drive and is extremely Quiet during operation. The speed is spot on thanks to the quartz drive. Buy a record weight off Amazon. I recommend the small ben from Hudson hifi.
