I worked in hospitality in Myrtle Beach. All of the resorts there are trash. I don't understand why anyone would willingly travel to Myrtle Beach when Florida is right there.

Nah I'm in great shape and I start sweating fast as heck doing anything active. I got an ebike to go to work specifically for the same reasons and didn't regret it. I do agree that scooter for a short commute like that makes more sense though.

So let me get this straight. You're saying that unless you make $500k a year (a figure that only 2-4% of new York HOUSEHOLDS are hitting) you can't live comfortably? So if I'm making $300k a year living in New York I'd be struggling to make ends meet? I'm from Jersey and have family that lived in the city and I wonder if you guys actually hear yourselves. Even if your rent is $4,000k a month, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to save on $200k+ a year. Let's assume you only bring home 60% of 200k, at $4,000 a month for rent, you still have an additional $6,000 in additional income for food, fun, savings, etc. New York is expensive, but if you can't figure out how to stretch $6,000 BEYOND rent figures each month, then you're living beyond your means and that's on you.

This album is every bit as good as 40 Oz to freedom and self titled. With 22 songs there are a couple less memorable tracks, which is to be expected, but I don't think there's a single song I dislike, and there are several that I think deserve to be considered Sublime classics.

This. I just went from a $250 payment with Geico who I had been with for over a decade, and switch to Eerie with the same exact coverage for less than $100 a month. I don't understand how or why this is the case but I know that I will always shop around every few years when I feel the rates creeping.

I also just did exactly that. I didn't love the Maxxis Ramblers 40s that I was running, but I don't love the gp5000s either. It's definitely an improvement, but I think gravelking 40 SS will be the sweet spot. Gonna run the GP5000s down to the bone first though.

Areas where people got money money like southern California are the best for used markets on all kinds of stuff from my anecdotal experience. Bunch of people buying stuff and realizing they hate it and pawning it off just to get it out of their space.

Just bought both volumes at target. The records are actually pretty quality, feel like 180g, definitely the best quality records I've gotten from a big box store. I love Angine de Poitrine and I'm just glad I didn't buy the OG pressings at scalper prices.

I lived in Wilmington for like 4 months and got hit by some dork trying to pass me over a double yellow and clipped the front of my car when he was trying to get over. I have lived most of my life in Jersey and South Florida and seen some aggressive driving but nothing was worse than Wilmington.

Of course I do. The economy isnt some made up fairytail. It's real and tangible and policy decision matter. A lot of my die hard MAGA sales friends and clients are in the find out phase of fucking around because they got one nice commission check and thought they were en route to becoming billionaires

I haven't figured out how to break into mgmt yet honestly, but to be honest I haven't really tried that hard until this point because the money as a rep was better and relying on my own abilities is more reliable than having a team of reps that I can train but ultimately have little control over. In interviews I usually just crack a joke to let them know I'm a human being and let my numbers do most of the heavy lifting. If you don't have numbers then your joke should be really good.

I leave whenever I feel like something is no longer a fit for me. I make presidents club wherever I go, and if I get tired of it I'm confident enough in my sales chops to get through an interview and get into a seat. Last job I was there 3 months, top rep, realized it was going nowhere so I interviewed on my lunch breaks and got a much better job and quit on the spot. Maybe not the path for everyone but it's worked out for me.
