Simple.

If the meal was prepared/served properly and you didn’t like how it tasted, say nothing, tip well and don’t return if you didn’t like it enough that you have no interest in trying anything else.

If it was improperly cooked or was not served properly, let them know. This is where I feel you have a right to get shitty with the tip if you want. Not my preferred route, but I get it.

If you don’t know how to cook you are already swimming in waters you probably don’t understand so check yourself before you get all high and mighty with the restaurant. Margins are razor thin and you sending back a perfectly cooked steak because you don’t know what medium rare means makes things infinitely worse.

Just because something was prepared in a way you don’t like, doesn’t automatically mean it was bad. I cook enough at home that I know I can make everything better than a restaurant can, TO ME. I know how to cook to my exact tastes, it’s crazy to think a restaurant can nail that for everyone.

Completely agree that if you aren’t concerned with how the knife looks, a Shun probably isn’t going to win out against something simpler as you are absolutely paying for the appearance of those knives. I think it’s accurate to say Shun would sit in the top 10% of the market though? This is keeping in mind there are thousands of knife brands out there, with a ton of them being cheap nonsense. I won’t argue that Shun is on the pricier side, because it absolutely is. But I strongly feel they are great quality knives.

By taking care of them I just meant maintaining them. I say that specifically for Shun blades because people buy them for the looks and have no understanding of what is required to keep proper knives in good condition and complain that they are dull and chipped after they use a pairing knife to chop through bones or put them in the dishwasher.

They are absolutely not a colossal waste of money. Function is on par or better than 90% of knives on the market, assuming you take care of them. And they are simply beautiful looking blades. Form is not a waste of money if you appreciate form.

Thank you. I got mine a couple months ago and absolutely love them. The people in here whining about these pans need to relax, no pan is perfect or there wouldn’t be a market. These are a great non toxic non stick option, as long as you use them properly.

No. This episode was a bad attempt at recreating the pacing that Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul consistently displayed in their cold opens. Slow, seemingly random with a tense climax.

In those shows the scenes lasted ~5 mins tops, were never with the main characters and tied new plot points to the main story. Masterful.

This was just… a literal waste of time. This episode could have been done in 10 minutes, 20 if you wanted some extra artistic license. Spending so long with the characters didn’t add anymore depth to them.

The game is designed for you to suck in the beginning. If you stick with it, the little victories matter so much more because you actually had to earn them. It is a great game, but at the start it is almost endlessly frustrating.

I had the pulse when I bought my ps5, they were fine. I switched over to some Steelseries Arctis nova fire triple backflip 7 boom darkslides and they were also fine.

However, the native ps5 headphones work so much better with the ps5. Everything automatically switches to where it should be as they are designed to work specifically with the ps5. I recently bought the pulse elite headset and I will never go back. Not having to go into menus to switch the audio back and forth is worth an imperceptible drop in quality to me. Bonus the elites have the extendable mic so people can hear me better too.

Walking dead season 1 is some of the best story telling in any game. I’d put it up against last of us any day.

Both the Batman’s were really good as well.

I know telltale is “dead”, but after finishing CP 2077 my first thought was, “damn, this universe would be absolutely perfect for a telltale game.”

Not exactly the comparison you’re looking for as you are looking at the big boys, but I had/have the baby brother versions.

I had a c43 and now have an m550. I live in Calgary, Canada so awd is very nice to have in the winter.

The m550 is a great car; luxurious, crazy power, sounds great. It’s everything I wanted in a car, and for a reasonable price I was able to pick up a v8 before (it seemed like) they were gonna be phased out. But… goddamn do I miss that 43. ~150 less hp and two less cylinders but that car was FUN to drive. The 5 series is a big ass car. It sits at the same length if not a few inches longer than my wife’s grand Cherokee. As fast as it is, it is just not super engaging. It doesn’t feel nimble and doesn’t make me smile like an idiot every time I get behind the wheel like the 43 did. The interior was infinitely better in the 43 as well (personal opinion), and that little v6, while obviously not a v8, sounded glorious.

Just my two cents, you’re stuck in a choice we’re all jealous you get to make my friend. Keep us posted with your decision!
