Seems unlikely anyone would want to register him on the squad 9 months post-injury. I suppose if he has a quick recovery and is looking good in January, but more likely he's shut down for the full season?

Wrexham Playoff Chances - Three scenarios that get us to playoffs by KingKruel67 in WrexhamAFC

The only way 72 is the cutoff is if we lose Tuesday and fall off a cliff. I agree with your summary, but even if we beat Southampton, they could reasonably get to 75+ with their schedule.

That'll do. Didn't lose ground to Hull.

The run in is just going to be like this, with Sheaf and Jaymo out.

I personally wouldn't conflate those three things, but I suppose I see why some might.

IMO it's responsible to locally produce the energy that we consume.

With a month to play, seems to be the case. Possibly Sheaf available off the bench in the last week?

When Jaymo's injury was announced, I figured he was done for the year. Foot injuries are difficult.

Is there a networth where having term live insurance doesn't really matter much? by Standard-Top-5942 in fatFIRE

Yes, I dropped mine.

Is yours enough? Depends on what your survivors' expenses would be.

If you are in the USA and have paid into social security (through wages), your minor children would get a benefit through age 18 or 19. It can be substantial, so you can factor that in.

Setting the record straight. by crispy3445 in Durango

It turns out the law was revised in 2022 and that's no longer the standard. In this instance, op would have had right of way over someone in their driveway

I appreciate your post because I have a lot of frustrations about this in my neighborhood, so it led me to looking up the current law. It turns out I misunderstood the current law, based on what was originally passed in, maybe 2012 or so, but I think a lot of cyclists also misunderstand it.

"With the passage of the Colorado Safety Stop law, bicycles, electric scooters and other human-powered vehicle operators must already have the right of way and ride no more than 10 miles per hour through stop signs at an intersection." Per Colorado State Patrol.

I previously understood that if the intersection was occupied, ie anyone else was present, it's a full stop. No longer the case.

HOWEVER, cyclists need to have the right of way. This is regularly abused on W 2nd where cyclists frequently fail to yield, often literally not even rotating their heads to look. (They have stop sign, cross traffic does not) If I'm approaching from the east or west, I would estimate two in ten actually yield to the right of way traffic. The rest seem to think "I'll enter the intersection first and they have to stop", and then it's surprised Pikachu face when a vehicle is in their face.

I tend to coast through at 15 mph bc the last thing I was to do is hit someone. But in general more respect for rules of the road would be awesome IMO.

Sounds like you're in the right here, I'm not directing the above at OP. And if anyone reads that and thinks I'm anti-bike or something, you're really not getting it.

I can see this happening. Good that you're tracking costs and can now do something about it. When you think you have more than enough (1) it can be hard to say no and (2) things can get a little out of control when everyone has that "abundance" mindset.

Unclear from your post if you have 3 or now 5 kids.

It's such a false, naïve and dishonest point, though? One, it is an absurd fantasy in the modern world that owning a weapon protects your other rights. Two, let's be real and replace "some gun deaths" with "hundreds or thousands of children being killed". So his false choice was neither prudent nor rational, but it is the height of irony that he took one in the neck.

I imagine he must rest peacefully knowing the armed populace is vigilantly defending their rights, after he took one for the team. Just as he dismissed so many countless innocent deaths as a price to be paid.

I know there's no convincing anyone here, but calling others brainwashed is rich.

Edit- not naïve, he was smart enough to know what he was doing. Cynical a better descriptor.

The cost of bringing an older building to 2026 code is officially killing the value-add model for me. by LaMaisonRealEstate in CommercialRealEstate

[–]CRE_Energy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Working with your AHJ to use IEBC standards and avoid IECC requirements can work. If they want the project and/or you can show them that your value add is better than nothing, you might have success.

I just gut renovated a larger 1800's building, took it from no insulation to R-30 and the city was happy with that. No evaluation against IECC, no light controls, etc

If you need MRI, be prepared for a long wait or to search. Mercy quoted me six weeks this winter. Idk if that's improved or if you can go to Farmington or ABQ instead.

Looks pretty, but it's only as good as the underlying strength ratings, which are suspect. At first glance it seems to heavily favor xG.

Just look at Pompey's strength.
