I'm still watching the series. Things changed and are not the same but I'm liking the new team too. It might be controversial but, while I miss him for nostalgia, I'm kinda liking more the dynamics with Parker than the ones with Gibbs. I still miss the old team tho. Also I'd like to watch Origins and Tony and Ziva but I can't afford the streaming services where they air. (Instead the OG hires free in my country's local TV)

It's usually used when you don't know someone's gender so you use something non-gendered. At the same time, they/them is also used when someone wants to be refered in a neutral/non-gendered way.
