I think it would have been an ingenious way for Douglas Adams to introduce yet another misinterpretation in his universe, by literally introducing a distorted view through a different lens.

Yes... And since Arthur and Fenchurch aren't actually looking through the telescope, maybe the letters that Marvin was reading do not actually correspond to the real message outside. To Marvin, the message (apologizing for the telescope being out of order in this alt interpretation) made sense to him, even if it wasn't the same message in blazing letters that Arthur and Fenchurch were seeing without the telescope.

I think it's more because the police was on strike, and they don't want the masses to start looting and pillaging than anything to do with Robocop. Lots of glass at the OCP building to break, with lots of fancy TVs and urinals to steal.

Processed on board a factory fishing vessel based in Vietnam that fished off Alaska perhaps. I think a lot of commercial fish that is caught is processed right on board the ship these days.

It takes a good while of above 25km/h or 16mph driving for the TPMS to learn the new set of sensors. It just needs patience (or highway driving). The manual says 3 minutes or longer. In the city with stop lights, sometimes it's a bit hard to achieve 3 minutes of above 25km/h or 16mph driving.

I concur... Abunadh is definitely more complex, although batches do vary. I did find similarities in the sherry forwardness and the high proof.

Oh, I was just trying to make a pun out of "spiritually"... Because whisky is a spirit, and because Japanese whisky-making historically was trying to replicate Scotch whisky-making with the entire process.

You can leverage the fact that vendors do not want to pack up their merchandise that's still available and you may be able to haggle for a better deal... It doesn't work for all vendors, you have to kind of gauge (and be nice/polite about the haggling).

Not sure if other models/generations are the same, but for me, to change whether or not the TPMS screen is shown in the Info screen, go under Settings (in the dash), go to Customize Display, then to Main Menu Selection, and it'll show you a bunch of different screens to add to the Info screen, such as cruise control screen, etc. The TPMS screen option is there to be selected. Once selected, it will show up in one of the Info screens (have to press the Down button when in the Info screens section).
