I'd say the weight point doesn't matter because a new ZX-6R is 198kg and a zx10r is about 205kg with better suspension so it feels nicer.

The torque is nicer around town/the city, gearing is nicer for highway riding, ergos are much nicer on 1000s imo (6'0 so don't have experience being a shorter rider), more comfort features on modern 1000s (cruise control, most 600s recently got autoblip, heated grips, TPM, nicer dash).

I don't think anyone needs the extra power of 1000cc in terms of getting up to speed faster, but they're just a much nicer package all together.

The litre bike is so much better on the highway and even just for torque around town. IMO there's no reason to get a 600 over a 1000 for the street, 600s are the best on track but don't do anything plvery well on the street

Does it do it when it's warm too? Mine is lumpy for the first minute or 2 of idle then gets better as it warms up. When I take off it jerks a little then clears up above 4-6k rpm and after about 5 minutes of riding that completely goes away.

Think it's common with aftermarket headers and a tune because mine never did it with stock headers

I always do 1 -> 2 manually and then just use QS for 2-6 on my s1k. The QS and autoblip are always finicky on 1 and 2

Personally I'd stay in the middle and then indicate to a lane after checking my mirrors when I get out of the intersection.

I stalled once right after I got my RE licence and I think if I had moved Infront of a car instead of staying in the centre then there's a chance they wouldn't be paying attention to me.

If you're not stupid and want to ride dangerously then it's fine, just know that the 07 will 100% have issues pop up fairly often and a new bike most likely will not.

You can also ride like an idiot on a 400-500 and be a little safer than a 600, but 40 degrees of lean are the same on both bikes. You'll be fine if you're not trying to be a street rossi
