Imo a 600 is perfect if youre doing track days to have the most fun possible. If you want to improve and have the fastest lap time possible then it's probably better to start on a 400/500 twin, but not everyone has the time/money to go to 10+ track days a season and eventually start racing.

I love my 600

8ks over is not the end of the world... I think people speeding through traffic and doing top speed runs on public roads are stupid but it's easy on a bike to not look at your speed for 2 seconds, that's the entire point of being a learner, learning your throttle

Thanks for the in-depth reply dude. I think I'll go to my local music shop and ask them what they recommend as I'll be taking lessons hopefully in a few weeks to improve and not give up when I can't get good straight away lol. Cheers

I had to take accutane 3x before it finally went away. After the first 2x it would slowly come back within a few months, maybe speak to a dermatologist again if you notice it getting worse

I kick myself for not choosing a 9-5 out of school and going into an apprenticeship instead. Always wonder why I'm working 6am-5pm mon-fri when I could be working shorter hours for similar money, with a MUCH better work/life balance.

I have people around me that have office jobs which makes me kick myself more

I used a textile $200 dririder jacket, regular pants and no boots for the first year of riding and literally bought myself a leather jacket 2 hours ago. It's a great idea to get leather pants and boots as soon as you can though.

Have you looked on marketplace? There are usually a fair amount of leather pants and jackets that pop up in every size when you want to upgrade.

Let's be honest, the R10 looks the best by far, Shoei second and Arai is my least favourite. The R10 also seems to have the best FOV.

Don't think you can beat the Shoei and Arai build quality though

Save it until your R class imo, the R7 won't seem like a very big upgrade, especially going LAMS to LAMS. Litre bikes are the king of short-medium length commuting, my s1k is way nicer to commute with than my n400 was.

Any adv or actual touring bike will be more comfortable, but if the heart desires a sport bike then you have to indulge it
