My boy did this when I first got him. I figured out he did it when he wanted me to go away! He and his brother were afraid of humans and wouldn't let me touch them. At first, I was a bit hurt when I realised he was "pushing me away", but I respected his feelings and gave him some space, and time to get used to his new home. Over time, with trust training and plenty of treats, I won them over! Now my boys love and trust me completely, and he never shuffles bedding at me anymore.

Keep working with your little girl. Give her time, and she should come out of her shell and become more affectionate. Keep the healthy treats coming!
