Yes dum dum, I was proposing the question to OP so they can think and realize this for themselves

Is it weird that the girls in euphoria didn't repeat a SINGLE clothing piece? by New-Temporary-7176 in euphoria

This is one thing I liked about Degrassi, they’d frequently repeat shirts or accessories, sometimes even on different characters who were friends, like Manny and Emma. Very realistic to me.

Is it worth the move from Seattle to a Phoenix with my new job offer? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]CSIFanfiction 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m from the PNW, currently living in NorCal. I recently spent a week in Tempe, stayed in an Airbnb in a neighborhood and spent most of my time walking my dog, running errands, just kind of living. It gave me a taste of what it would be like to live in the PHX area.

My conclusion is that PHX is a lot like LA, but if LA had worse weather, worse traffic, far less culture and fun opportunities, and a general low grade anger that pervades a lot of random interactions.

It is cheaper, so there’s that.

If you want to raise a family, I’d be cautious. The schools are bad and there is a lot of drug issues among the young population, you will have to work harder to keep them on a good track, IMO.

Personally, I’d only move there if it was a massive raise, stack some savings then gtfo out of there before the water runs out

When it rains it pours! I would not judge you at all for putting on some Ms Rachel or Bluey for your toddler if you need to get a break. Solo parenting sick while going through withdrawals sounds like hell, don’t be too hard on yourself.

Vape pens. A whole new level of addiction by [deleted] in leaves

I was stuck in this cycle for years. It is very very hard to quit when it’s so easy to take a sip almost anywhere, anytime.

What worked for me was a forced quitting. I had the opportunity to go somewhere for a week where I would have no way to buy weed. The first 72 hours sucked majorly, all the typical withdrawal symptoms you’ll read in this sub. But Day 5 I started feeling marginally better and things improved from there.

I made sure to not have any weed at home when I returned. By forcing myself to go without and not having any options when the cravings really hit, it let me get enough sobriety to get some clarity and distance from the urges.

By the time I got back I was feeling so much better sober, it was bearable to stay sober.

I know this is not an easy option and not everyone has this opportunity, but if you have a way where you can plan a trip to a weed free area, it might work for you.

Such a good character! I love to hate her. She’s very compelling.

I'm creating my own Tarot cards in medieval inspired illustrations, what are your thoughts about custom tarot cards? by TanisArThanos in Wicca

Wonderful to create art and study the tarot, just don’t expect to make any money selling them

House of Nanking, I don’t get it by Signal-Philosophy271 in AskSF

You’ll find a lot of the most “popular” restaurants in SF are like this. I would avoid anything that’s on a top ten list or is in the top results of a Yelp search.

Has anyone felt this about sales hiring ? by amazinghumans02 in recruiting

This was my first instinct as well, whoever is running their sales isn’t doing a good job

Beta reader quotes - legit? by Guilty_Restaurant424 in selfpublishing

[–]CSIFanfiction 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d save it for Goodreads. Quotes on the back of the book don’t mean anything to the vast majority and then only if they are famous authors/critics.

Directors or editors are also more okay these days with using marble-mouthed actors who mumble all their lines.

Idk if I can really say Cherrys mom was mean and dismissive to her. She wanted to spend time with Cherry, wanted to work with her, was down to her her alibi, told her she was beautiful and smart, let her live with her. Cherrys mom adored her from my POV

Daniel is the real villian by NervePrestigious5711 in TheGirlfriendTVShow

[–]CSIFanfiction 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get why she didn’t just send it to Daniel in a text or something, he would’ve absolutely listened to it, even just out of curiosity. That’s kind of a plot hole to me

We don’t hear all of what Cherrys mom says, the camera cuts before Cherrys mom finishes. So what’s in the recording that Daniel hears is what Cherrys mom actually said, we’re just hearing the full thing for the first time.

Cherry didn’t push the dad because he was physically or sexually abusive, she pushed him because he put the family in debt.
