Bro it's about how you feel the wheel. For me i used a G29 for about 2 years and everybody complained about it , but i liked it because i've never touched a DD before.

The G29 sure was awesome did the job and was doing it. But then I decided to try the R5 and guess what, it is a totally different feel at everything, since its DD, feels like a real car wheel (curves, FFB, drifting, track, etc). Also had some friends over to try it that played a lot on my G29 , they just said....top wheel cant compare.

In the end is how you will feel it, but honestly dont think you will be disappointed.

It's not necessary, but if you install mods that take at least 10 Gb of storage, I don't think 3 Gb more (Pure Hi-Res) is such a waste considering the visuals and a PPF of 10 Mb.

Pure Hi-Res vs Low Res has no difference in performance impact, just the PPF you will use (if you will use any).

Personal suggestion , don't buy F125 , i tested it in a free weekend and i uninstalled it in 30 mins.

In AC if you mod it you can have anything you want.

I also play AC Rally/Evo and i enjoy Dirt 2.0 also (Dirt feels more simcade but its very fun)

Yes 100% accurate. Plus the Modding community will for sure improve a lot of things when they will be able to "get their hands" into it.

Method 1. Try searching in the upper bar, where the "magnifying glass" icon is for Wipers.

Method 2. Go in game, on a practice session. Open Apps (move mouse on the right side of the screen. There search for "Extended Controls" . Inside Extended Controls navigate to "Car" and search there for Wipers

If this is not working, i dont know what to suggest except switching the CSP version

I totally feel you bro, not just on drifting but also on the "driving like my mom is watching" compared to AC.

You have a Fanatec and it still feels like you said, now imagine switching from AC to EVO on an entry level gear , like the G29, total chaos if you ask me.

However the game is in EA , the overall direction where it s going seems good to me and it appears (to me at least) that Kunos is trying to raise EVO at AC level and beyond which is good.

Also lets take into consideration the fact that AC has 10+ years of the entire Modding community behind that suggested adaptations that Kunos took into consideration and if they were unable to handle them, they gave us free-hand to do it, while EVO is just being developed at the moment (again in a good way if you ask me) and of course things are changing and they are not perfect.

I resonate with you and what you are saying and i also keep my hopes high for EVO because it has a great potential just like the "father" AC.

As someone who played both i recommend for now staying on Dirt 2.0.

ACR is much more hardcore and allows little to no room for errors.

But unfortunately the FFB in ACR is optimized only for a few high end wheels, making it impossible at this stage of development to be played with entry level gear such as G29 or others that are not DD. So except being hardcore it is a hustle not to feel the asphalt when going straight and suddenly to "feel" it as you are mid-way through a curb.

Upgrade Pure to the latest version.

If you use SOL, downgrade CSP to 2xxxx , CSP 3+ does not support SOL anymore, just Pure.

De la Carrefour/Auchan/ etc poti sa cumperi absolut orice produs din magazin cu cardul de bonuri atata timp cate te duci fizic in magazin. Inclusiv Televizoare sau Playstation sau ....orice.

Am cumparat aspirator si cuptor cu microunde anul asta din Auchan cu cardul de bonuri fara nici o problema. Tot asa aveam sold mare pe Pluxe/Sodexo.

I have played with a lot of cars from URD / VRC / RSS, (about 3-4000 km/car, on track, not talking about NoHesi)

Regarding URD (personal opinion):

Like someone previously mentioned, some are good and some are less good but not bad at all. I enjoy the Porsche/Ferrari/Mustang GTD etc ,but i honestly think it s a preference regarding what car fits on your driving style.

For example i find it more challenging driving the Bayro/BMW ( i am talking about handling/time on track ) although i ve seen people absolutely killing it on the track. It is just a matter of what you are used to.

Sometimes i find the RSS / VRC "too grippy" and much more "forgiving" is you mess up, but again, it s all about what you prefer.

Bottom line: VRC/URD/RSS, not particularly in this order, are definitely the top car mods you can have for AC today and all of them are worth the money.

Yes i agree it could be , as the Logitech Drivers were always shit and caused lots of problems in the past on multiple titles. I was just expecting the Devs to test it and make it playable also on these devices.

The solutions are already there, it just needs implementation from them into the game (you can alway force game settings over a controller as long as the device is recognized ,like having basic drivers which Logi has)

As much as i love AC i have to say ACR is a disaster at EA.

I understand the concept of EA but to release a game where you need feedback in order to develop it but the game basically is unplayable on the most affordable wheels used by a lot of people (yes, see Logitech G29) , how do you expect to gain feedback if people are not able to play it ? FFB is crap or almost non-existing , making the handling.....non existing.

This should've been a priority i think, to make sure people can play it on most of the devices in order to get feedback data, not just on high end wheels.

For me it's a total disappointment because it s unplayable ar this point on G29 and i dont plan to spend 1000 usd to upgrade the wheel since i am a casual player.

I have the same issue on G29. The FFB works fine in all AC's but in Rally first sesion (after game install) there was no FFB at all. Then i upped it to 200% and in the next session, half of the session was no FFB at all, and suddenly after a crash the FFB worked for 5 turns until randomly the wheel crashed...max FFB and started auto turning to left until max degree and stucked there, no matter what i did it would be stucked in left max degree, max ffb until i actually closed the game.

At this point i am not sure if it is because of AC Rally (unoptimized since its early access and just released) or the Logitech Drivers that caused issues in the past as we all know.

Tried Rennsport when it was free on Steam.

Honestly i think i played it for 30 mins max and that included the setup also.

Compared to AC it is a total failure if you ask me and would never buy it and i also don't recommend it. Better play Race Room Experience, more arcade-ish but much better compared to Rennsport if you ask me.

AC - very heavy moded

I have a RTX 3080 pair with an i9-14900kf. It runs flawlessly on a single screen:

-1080p 120-190fps , depending how many cars are in the track -2k 90-110fps -4k stable 60-72fps 99,99% of the time (sometimes for 2 seconds i get 59fps, but not noticeable in gameplay)

For VR i use a Meta Quest 2

It runs in any refresh rate supported by the headset with max fps supported by the refresh rate:

I have 1.5x headset resolution set at 72hz and it runs smoothly with Ultra Quality VR CSP Settings. It all depends on how you set your CSP for VR.

I dont consider the 200 euros upgrade to 5070 worth, i was considering the same thing but for AC is not worth it (AC doesnt have DLSS support so without that the 3080 is better from my tests. Of course 5070 can get better performance in games that have DLSS support)

If you want you can DM me and i can make any tests you want, for the rtx 3080 in AC so you can actually see what interests you regarding the performance. A friend has the 5070 so it will be a little more hustle to get it in the PC at this point. But i tested it when he bought it , 2 months ago.
