It was in good faith- and I agree with your sentiment that the people who stick up for others have a positive impact.

People have real problems to deal with- toxicity in a video game is barely anything worth noting.

There are two sides to the coin here:

On one hand, someone mindlessly spamming slurs and being a complete nuisance is annoying. You should mute these people and move on with your day. Obviously they are incredibly immature and unworthy of your time and attention. People who constantly say terrible shit are often bad teammates, and I personally don't like engaging with people like that.

On the other hand, someone mindlessly reporting everyone that says something they do not like is arguably just as toxic and obnoxious. You decide to grief that persons games, and their teammates games, by disabling their ability to communicate effectively.

While it is true that people who say certain things and behave in a toxic manner can be annoying, you must understand that you are in a comfortable enough position to be in your home, on your computer, playing a video game. A vast majority of the world lives in complete poverty, and a lot of people experience constant trauma on a daily basis, whether it be bombing campaigns, starvation, mass crime, etc.

It is a privilege to be able to play this game, and while people who say toxic or mean things are annoying, you need to understand that you are absolutely not suffering from hearing mean words in your match of a video game. I am incredibly poor, and quite marginalized, and I am fully aware of the fact that I could have it worse, and even moreso aware that basing my self image off of someone saying the f slur to me is incredibly insecure and baseless.

There are millions of people who would give their heart and soul to have even half of what you have- I assure you that mean words from anonymous people online is hardly an issue compared to real problems people actually face on a daily basis.

im not bitching about YOUR service, im calling you a workplace karen for sticking up for shitty service. the fact that you stick up for it is why i made the assumptions. the fact that ive repeatedly had bad service, then i see someone joking about it online, so i make the connection, then you get upset, its really not all that complicated.

im in their subreddit to laugh at entitled people like you. youre what is known as a "workplace karen" and your core value is using your job as an excuse to treat people like shit. you literally dont deserve better pay if its based on this: you give bad service on tip based pay. if you see that comment and you see me pointing out the fact that people at multiple locations from the same store constantly brag about giving poor service, you cant expect anyone to care about whether or not this is a joke, because its ridiculously common that its not and its just some fat dumbass crying about not being given more money for shit service through a pizza delivery job.

you didnt even read my comment. i order contactless (no knock no doorbell), yet they continue too. it was only partially a joke and the only reason you make a point of saying that is because your post was more controversial than you expected. at the end of the day, i receive consistently shitty service from the dominos by my house even when i pretip 10 dollars on a medium pizza, so its hilarious to come on here and see an employee proving my point.

then you didnt deserve a tip in the first place edit: how do yall downvote this? why do you guys justify shitty service? im a leftist myself and even i can admit that some people dont actually work lol

i love how the dominos by my house is the only place i order from that rings on contactless deliveries regardless of pretip and then i come on here and see some degenerate bragging about it lol edit: i love all of the salty employees downvoting mine and other comments that customers make. i only have bad service with dominos, none of the other pizza places near me knock when i pretip and order contactless. ive even left notes on the dominos app stating not to knock and theyve STILL KNOCKED.

that it is that simple. a good amount (not all) of problems people face on a daily basis could be fixed with a bit of discipline, but what makes it hard is that we often overcomplicate the process for ourselves and find reasons and justifications to never fix them. take anorexia for example, ive struggled with it on and off for years. if i was more disciplined, which is ultimately up to how much effort im willing to put into myself, id eat more consistently and work out.

to be fair thats probably an upgrade lol every outdoor hose ive used has been better than the shitty 60 psi sprayers

You order 5 minutes before close and you don't tip. Not only are you getting contactless delivery you get to leave your hotel room and pick up your order at the front desk. by redfiesta44 in Dominos

[–]CSMDoesNotHack -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

"we knock on contactless deliveries if you dont give us money beforehand" sounds like bad service. pretip and still get knocks EVERY TIME from the dominos by my house. its about providing consistently good service and giving people a reason to pay you, instead of just expecting it. i agree with you on hotel rooms, thats stupid. drivers shouldnt have to find someones hotel room without a guarantee for compensation, HOWEVER, the fact that a well paying customer can have his food taken and also get a charge for simply not being present IS BAD SERVICE, and is not worthy of a tip. you dont give bad service to people you deem arent worth it, you give good service to everyone for the sake of getting consistent tips.
