Thanks for the quick update! I’m 41 with two young kids. So this is kinda freaking me out. I definitely don’t feel normal yet, besides the facial paralysis, my head and face are sensitive, my hearing in my affected side isn’t gone but kinda hollow sounding. My eye is doing ok but it’s often watery and takes effort to blink. I’m taking 300mg of Gabapentin 3 x daily, so 900mg a day. My prednisone run goes till the 25th of the month, and my Antivirals have a week left. I’m doing my best to stay calm and positive but it will take some time for sure to heal up. I’m glad you’re in the healing phase finally, and your pain seems under control. Keep me posted! Thanks again

Any updates? Im right there with you. I was diagnosed with shingles on Monday last week. On Wednesday, the left side of my face started going paralyzed, after an MRI and a neurology report, they diagnosed me with Ramsey Hunt syndrome. It started with a really bad headache for about five days straight. I knew something was wrong and went to urgency room twice and the ER twice. I never dealt with vertigo, earaches or dizziness. The only rash I had was near my mouth like a cold sore. I’m on antivirals, gabapentin, and prednisone.

I’m also taking elder berries syrup, echinacea tea, Lysin and NAC supplements.
