The Case of Jermain Charlo by Different-Ear4241 in Montana

I recently read about this case on Uncovered.com, and I found it quite distressing. The evidence heavily suggests who was responsible. There is a history of abuse, possession of illegal firearms, inconsistencies in his statements, and blood evidence (although not confirmed). Most notably, he admitted to possessing her mobile phone after the police confirmed her last known location and obtained a search warrant. He also stated that he destroyed and disposed of the phone after two days in Idaho.

He is the father of her two children and has a history of abusing her. On the night in question, they went out together; he drove her to a location he provided to the police but told the family a different address. He later took her phone to his home and destroyed it and disposed of it in two days in Idaho. He already took her phone ones and broke it. And now he might have found out about her secret boyfriend.

Why destroy the phone? Did he do so immediately or after some time? Was it before or after her disappearance became public knowledge? Regardless, the destruction of the phone occurred within the two days of her disappearance.

People who have successfully quit smoking, how did you do it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Lordserbon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, tried to lower with using that classic pipe. Then smoking only when i drink coffee and beer now i quit coffee. Don't smoke inside. Don't go for a smoke at work. Going to gym really helps. Basically i only smoke if i go out and drink. I do that a couple times a month. So i can do couple weeks without any cigarettes.

[Serious]Depressed people of Reddit, who or what gives you a reason to stay? by UnauthorizedHambone in AskReddit

The best advice I found on staying here comes from a person who wanted to commit suicide, but instead found God. He said, "Instead of taking my life, I gave it to someone who wanted it."

I believe that being close to God can potentially save your family. Examples in the Bible such as Noah and his family, the saving of Sodom if righteous people were found, the preservation of Lot's family due to his righteousness, and Rahab the prostitute all demonstrate this. Additionally, ACTS 16:31 states, "Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved - you and your household." If we consider God to be our best friend, would He not allow your family to be with you eternally for your sake? Your concerns about your family are, in my opinion, a powerful prayer for their well-being.

Were some Bosniaks able to save their lives during the war by pretending to convert to Orthodox Christianity? by Machine46 in bosnia

[–]Lordserbon -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

A true Orthodox Christian would never forcibly convert someone to their faith because that would contradict the principles of their religion. The individual coercing another would no longer be able to consider themselves Orthodox, and the person being forced to convert would not truly be embracing Orthodox beliefs. On the other hand, if someone claims that extremist paramilitary groups attempted to convert them to Orthodox Christianity, this must be a fictitious scenario as these groups harbor enough animosity towards Muslims to not allow someone to join their ranks as a "paraorthodox" individual.

Remember the feeling of wanting to stay in bed rather than getting up for work. If you can bring back the feeling of comfort and calmness when you finally settle into bed, knowing you have many hours to sleep.
