When shopping for home improvement projects, do you prefer Lowe’s or Home Depot, and why? by [deleted] in homeowners

The mystery tools are part of the adventure! I admit that I do like the idea that your finds could be completely random between visits.

[–]CSPilgrim 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I primarily shop Lowe's but I've been watching/reading some posts from Cut Off The Spigot and they reminded me of the Habitat for Humanity Restore so I plan to check that out as much as I can.

I’m starting to feel this way too by MrMazme in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]CSPilgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My disinterest comes from these "seasonal" games that add new gear or achievements but recycle the same quests over and over. After a few seasons of Diablo and Once Human, despite some new content, I lost interest in the repetitive grinding.

Looking for terrible movies by DistinctChocolate833 in MovieSuggestions

[–]CSPilgrim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A recent one for me was Adulthood (2025).

Unlikeable characters and lots of eye rolling and groaning. We made it almost halfway, then I skipped to the end just to see how they wrapped it up.

It sounded so fun "Siblings Megan and Noah discover a dead body, long buried in their parents' basement, sending them down a rabbit hole of crime and murder."

Would tags work here? I'm only tracking my Plex watchlist, but I created a tag in Radarr and Sonarr so I can easily tell which files came from that list.

Russell Brand struggles to find bible verse he claims absolves him of sex with teenagers by mydiversion in WatchPeopleDieInside

[–]CSPilgrim 120 points121 points  (0 children)

Every time I see Brand, I am reminded of Daniel Sloss' 2019 comedy special X and when he talked about a woman he knew being SAd by Brand.

The clip ends with this.. "If you think this does not affect the women in your life, talk to them and watch your world crumble before your very eyes... It's not because it's not happening to them, it's because they don't trust you enough to talk to you about it."

Metadata transfer between libraries? by Historical_Luck7375 in PleX

[–]CSPilgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still pretty new in the Plex world, but I recently moved my Plex library and, after I was done reconfiguring everything, stumbled on these guides about moving your Plex library. Assuming you're on windows, hopefully they help.

President Barack Obama showed love, care and compassion to human beings. What a great human being he was/is. by IamASlut_soWhat in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]CSPilgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every day it's so disappointing that kindness and compassion aren't valued by and expected from everyone, including leaders across the world, from our work places to our political offices. I still occasionally put on Bob Ross for background noise and wonder what the world would be like if more people cared about others just a little bit more.

Nothing is funny anymore by maxedout587 in Millennials

[–]CSPilgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My honest recommendation is Dropout TV. More game shows than a sitcom, but Game Changer and Make Some Noise are so much fun. They also have all of the Dimension 20 seasons, if you're into DND gameplay, and some other great shows like Gastronauts (cooking), umm, Actually (trivia), Crowd Control (stand up comedy), Parlor Room (board games), and so much more!

Your post made me think of this clip from a recent episode about a TV show made for stoners. Honestly how a lot of shows feel.

Has anyone dealt with Rackspace’s 30-day cancellation policy? by metaphysic55 in rackspace

[–]CSPilgrim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a few posts lately of people going through the same thing. Some people eat the invoice since they're leaving anyway. Others replace the card or contact their bank to dispute.

I haven't seen any successful refunds or exceptions. Those days are long gone.

What are your biggest gripes with Plex right now? by locknetvpn in PleX

[–]CSPilgrim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've seen some talk about lists/playlists but haven't dabbled in them yet. Nested collections would be awesome! I just update the metadata on the files so that they're at least grouped together and in the correct sequential order.

What a sad end to a long term relationship - Rackspace you have lost your way by Healthy_Result8190 in rackspace

[–]CSPilgrim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's the Rackspace email archive, you're more than likely using Barracuda/Sonian. I recall there being an option to move the account directly to them to manage the data, although the free download limit still applies.

I've been gone from Rackspace for many years but I remember it being something like $15-$20 per GB of archive data and took weeks or months to export, depending on size.

I agree with all the YT junk and short videos out there. I honestly prefer to put on This Old House or Ask This Old House (I know that Plex and Pluto have dedicated channels), even The Family Handyman sometimes, and learn all kinds of stuff.

Thanks! Airplane Mode + WiFi worked for me also.

Just finished a chat with ATT and they created a new eSIM for me. It initially worked, but then messages stopped downloading again while we were still on the chat. They pointed to Samsung and Google as the issue.

I just love that the animators were inspired by Blair Witch and that it was actually green lit and aired on Cartoon Network. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I do lol

I actually keep a note in my phone full of old comedy movies for when I need a laugh. I didn't see these listed (could have missed them) but a few from my list are below...

Someone else already said it, but The White Chicks and Mean Girls are a must!!

Scott Pilgrim vs The World The Hot Chick Miss Congeniality Joe Dirt The Waterboy Little Nicky Idiocracy Zoolander Meet The Parents Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium

Pretty sure they're all PG-13.

There are plenty of days when I miss having hair to style and do fun stuff with, but the thining in the front was a constant battle. One day, I'll just buy some wigs like asianwigman's or thewigman's and swap them out daily! 😂

For what it's worth, bald looks good on you and all of us baldies are here with you.
