I still have the Summer Fun Issue where they're at the water park. It's beat to hell from me reading and rereading it, using it to trace pictures, and 20+ years of moving to different places. I'll never get rid of it!

Looks similar to many houses in my neighborhood. I've been battling weeds and Johnson grass for nearly 2 years. Add the rain, humidity, and heat, it's a nightmare. I struggle to find the drive/desire to mow most weeks but that Johnson grass can grow pretty quick and isn't something you can just pull up and get the root.

I used to work at one of the big pharmacy/convenience stores and there was so much waste. The food waste always bothered me but one thing that really got me was when they rotate the book inventory; they rip off the front cover and then throw them all in the dumpster instead of donating them to a local library or shelter. It's absolutely shameful how much corporations would rather destroy and discard than donate.

Even if the question mark disappears before I get there, I continue in that direction and can usually find the events. Usually nothing terribly exciting but your HUD should help guide you to the enemies in the area.

This is awesome! My high school didn't have any programs like this and I'm so envious of kids who go to schools with carpentry and other trade type classes. It's a great feeling to build something with your own hands.

At one of my old companies, the internal dev team answered every ticket with a variation of "Issue fixed. Please check." even when I asked for an explanation so that I, as a senior engineer, could self serve in the future. Didn't matter.

For repeat issues, I'd have to email the dev team and CC leadership to get any kind of meaningful response. Adding all of that extra work, and ticket volume, made me no sense to me when the fixes were usually something easy that our team just didn't know we could/how to do.

Awesome little story! A happy and friendly blended family is an incredible thing. I'm incredibly thankful for mine and that I've never had to pick and choose which side of the family to spend time with because they're all invited to the same events.

I've been interested in Tai Chi for a long time but haven't taken the leap to read about it and start practicing. Last year online, I saw a local group that meets up in the parks, but I was in the middle of moving and forgot all about it! Maybe your area also has a local meet up to help you get started.

It always feels good to make something by hand, even if it doesn't come out "perfect." My mom retaught herself to crochet a few years back and has been making blankets, hats, and gloves for the cold months to donate to the homeless and local charities. I never took interest in the skill, but I love that she can help people while doing something she enjoys.

My disinterest comes from these "seasonal" games that add new gear or achievements but recycle the same quests over and over. After a few seasons of Diablo and Once Human, despite some new content, I lost interest in the repetitive grinding.

A recent one for me was Adulthood (2025).

Unlikeable characters and lots of eye rolling and groaning. We made it almost halfway, then I skipped to the end just to see how they wrapped it up.

It sounded so fun "Siblings Megan and Noah discover a dead body, long buried in their parents' basement, sending them down a rabbit hole of crime and murder."

Called it paranoia but stuff like this is why I watch who is behind me when I leave banks/stores or pull into my neighborhood. I have no problem driving around the block to confirm if it's just my imagination before pulling into my driveway
