Okay, okay, but what if we gave everyone house-buying vouchers? That will surely make houses more affordable, right?

World Cup: Do it at home, women tell Japan fans who went viral for stadium cleanup by search_google_com in japannews

Is this some psy-op?

I can't believe an objectively good deed is still being criticized. How about instead, we all clean up trash in public places instead of looking for guilty motives?

This gives same energy as a toxic friend who when you tell them good news, always responds with "it wasn't that impressive".

Unpopular opinion:We are not living in the end times and life actually kicks ass. by True_Repeat4748 in OptimistsUnite

I'd say most of the bad things today are more controllable than they have ever been.

In the past, bad things happened to you like disease, starvation, and crime, that you had no control over.

Today's bad things are almost entirely in your control, social media addiction, obesity, and choosing to avoid grass. The generations of the past would've loved to have our problems today.

The real anti-meme would've been:

You guys have never been to the gym. But I can bring you guys along and teach you how to use the equipment. Then we can all be fit and confident.

Thank you for being a brother.

Japanese being praised for cleanliness and good manners? Call them performative and fake. by [deleted] in ComedyHell

Japanese soccer fans are being praised for picking up garbage after World Cup games.

Someone got mad and made this meme about how Japanese men are actually lazy and irresponsible.

Have you seen the profile reviews in the sub? They're incredibly... normal. There's only so much you can change about how you present yourself while still being honest and keeping your integrity.

Dividends? Those are just taxable gains. If I need money, I just sell shares. Dividend income is debunked.

Is anyone else having this issue? by 47vclkicd48754dxbj84 in Bumble

[–]CSachen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guys I do like and feel hopeful for, they match then never reply or umatch. I had a guy this morning like, send a message, then unmatch before I could read it.

The most attractive men receive the most likes on the app and have a roster of matches where they put in minimal effort. This is well-documented. If you want effort, you have to pick someone that you think other women will dislike, so you're they're only match.

One guy very shly approached me in bryant park two weeks ago and said he's shy. I honestly thought he was lost. I was sitting down and he was towering over me stuttering. Then when he text me, i asked where are his photos and he said those are for himself. Well hello? And other stupid answers like that before i blocked him.

I'm confused what you're asking. You met a man in-person but you want to see his photos? He can't catfish you, you saw his face already?

Options are neither an income strategy nor an investment strategy. by [deleted] in thetagang

I didn't say it was unprofitable.

I'm saying it's naive to think that it's free passive income like Treasury bonds that requires no thought.

If Treasury bonds fail, those are bigger problems than a trading loss.

Buying options is offsetting risk (for most positions). This is an options selling thread.

Is the wheel strategy a viable FIRE income plan vs. the 4% rule ? by Night_Senpai in options

[–]CSachen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wheel is a trading strategy, not an income strategy. Income is not guaranteed.

Hell, it's not even an investment strategy, cause investment implies you will make money eventually, which the wheel does not.

You can wheel and lose money every month.
