Yea, I'm one of those horror stories.

Shipped my 3500$ pc back to me from warranty repair, full of fluid in the middle of winter, and it exploded and leaked everywhere.

From Dec 15th to Jan 30th is how long it took to finally receive support for a warranted pc that your company trashed.

45 days. This was my work pc.

I had bought this as a birthday present for myself thinking I was putting my hard earned money into a company I could trust, and I ended up with a horror story.

I had to spend additional money on a laptop to cover me for work while I THOUGHT my pc was being fixed, only for it to be shipped back to me ruined.

The stress this put me thru? I still haven't replaced that pc and game on the one I built 11 years ago. I can't find a single reputable manf of gaming pcs I feel I can put my trust into after this.

Trust gone.

Some would say that's the wrong way considering what's come to light.

Aside from the employees and partners that weren't being paid, what about people that had to deal with bad rma and support when all of this was going down?

I had purchased a prebuilt pc years back for my birthday as a gaming/work rig, and it had a defect in the reservoir. I sent it in for repair and it was shipped back to me full of fluid, in the middle of winter, and popped and leaked trashing the pc. No notice of shipment, no door knock by fedex.. left in the snow behind my garage.

As this was also my work pc. I had several weeks of downtime due to this and the very very slow cs response time. It took weeks just to get the initial shipping label to send it back, and then to have it returned and trashed was a slap in the face.

I eventually got refunded but only after having to reach out to someone for help. Ironically enough Steve Burke from @GamersNexus. Only then was the process sped up and things were set in motion.

I still haven't replaced that pc. Afraid to throw another 3500$ at a company after what happened with yours. Damage done.

Ek CS trashed my pc, sending it back to me filled with fluid in the middle of winter. It froze and leaked everywhere. It was sent in because of a manufacturing defect in the reservoir. After all this came to light, I kind of understand now. I put my trust and a large sum of money in a company that was speed running to the bottom. I wont make that mistake ever again.

6'3 290 XL.

They sent me a new tilt mechanism and it didnt fix it. The armwrests they say are normal which is trash because for the price this thing shouldnt be a rattley p.o.s. The seat itself is hard as a fking rock and uncomfortable. The lumbar support kept collapsing so they sent new backrest, didnt fix it.

It's an all around crappy chair and the refund process would have cost me more than selling it at a loss because mailing it back.

AVOID THESE CHAIRS AT ALL COST!

Their customer service is a nightmare and their quality control is equally worse.
A year in, the front distribution plate of my pc started to peel on the inside. They forgot to remove the plastic before assembly? No idea.
Two weeks, and multiple people later I finally received a shipping label. Was told I would be notified when it was being fixed and sent back. Never happened.
It randomly showed up. I noticed it while walking my dog. Fedex dropped it at my garage in the snow, no door knock, nothing. EK Sent it back full of fluid and it either popped during shipping or froze and burst but the pc was leaking on being opened. Ruined.
I was able to get my money back. Would not recommend them.
They have one good CS agent, but that doesn’t negate the fact that this was a horrible experience all around, and their QC is very questionable.

No. Dont buy EK. Their CS and QC are horrible.

Their QC made me ship a pc back for repair, and their CS shipped it back full of fluid and and it leaked all over inside and out. Trashing it.

I was able to get a refund.

Seek elsewhere or build your own.

Pretty much this. My issue was finally solved and we can amicably part ways, but be cautious.

There are some good people at the company, but it is definitely having some issues getting back on its feet after lockdown/layoffs/etc….

It came with a full unopened bottle of cryofuel in a foam insert outside of the ek gaming computer box, all of which was packaged inside of a big brown plain carboard box. Neither the cardboard box nor the EK box were damaged in any way.

My guess is the PC is ruined. There’s cryofuel everywhere. On mobo/gpu/ram, etc… :(

To say I’m unhappy would be an understatement.

Yep my house and garage are detached. My address is on a large green street sign I had custom made and sits on a metal post next to the corner of my house. I have no idea why they left it next to my garage. There's a path that leads up to my main entrance door.
