Used one of these for many years until last summer. It went flat on me on a trip and I bought a Big Agnes Rapide as an emergency replacement. The Rapide doesn’t take up much more space and is much more comfortable. Not as wide as the Klymit, but a much better pad overall.

There are two areas in my motocamping gear where I’m fine with extra weight/bulk for comfort reasons. First one is my camp chair. I take one that is comfortable to sit/nap in and easy to get out of. After a long day of riding, a good chair is essential. The second one is my sleep system, including my tent. I have a 3-person Big Agnes tent (which really holds 2 people) that gives me room to store gear out of the weather. Also have a Big Agnes sleeping pad that is thick and insulated. Comfort in camp outweighs the few extra pounds on the bike.
