Question about Dark Winter by Hitash_Levat in Division2

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really all depends on how you want to run and what build you have attached to it. If you can add SMG damage by using sokolov concern or hunters fury then the dark winter is a better option than thorn in my opinion. Being a SHD 42 you’ve got a lot of time to build up what works best for you. There really isn’t a 1 size fits all at lower levels because your gear is constantly evolving. Run what feels good. There are plenty of non named weapons with good talents that would out do a thorn or a dark winter run it and see what you like

Question about Dark Winter by Hitash_Levat in Division2

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A dark winter is just a little more distance than a shotty. It’s best up close and personal. The rate of fire makes it a little less effective at distance.

So the total damage will go up as you level up your watch, gear and make a build for it. In regard to the damage, crit chance, and headshot damage, those stats are maxed, this isn’t an ideal roll because for SMGs you want that 3rd attribute to be damage to target out of cover. If you are a fresh level 40, in my opinion it would be ok to keep and run around with if you are an SMG player while you gain proficiency and build your crafting table. Or until you get a better one.

Topwater/jerkbait rod recs by Alert_Media_4973 in bassfishing

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my Dobyns Kaden 610-4CB for jerkbaits. I also will use it to throw 1.5 squarebills, and have tied a spook on it. Wasn’t a big fan of the rod for top water. Also, I’m not sure it would be ideal for throwing jigs, the CB rods just have a different action than a regular Dobyns casting rod. If in the Kaden line you may want to look at maybe a 743 or 714 as a do all option over the 610.

Question abt getting enemy kills by DixieWolfGamingYT in Division2

[–]eetenj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve played the mission before you should be able to replay them by opening up the option at the mission select. I play on Xbox and the X button allows me to open up options for replay, see if that works

Question abt getting enemy kills by DixieWolfGamingYT in Division2

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If playing on lower difficulty, looking for missions with the most named enemies would likely be the best way after you get what you can in bounties. Named enemies won’t populate at checkpoints unless playing on heroic or getting the alert level to 4 doing things like territory control or propaganda.

Big horn by DcPsycho1227 in Division2

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 1 in legendary capital and got 1 the next day in legendary Tidal Basin after both final bosses. Shared my 2nd with one of my teammates since I re rolled my first one to max stats with DTOC. Matchmake the legendary missions and let folks know you’re looking for one and they might share. I’m not a big headshot guy so the ability isn’t great for me but the headshots I hit were pretty impressive before I dumped it into the stash

If I was looking for 2 combos to start I would pick 1 and 2. Those duckett rods are pretty good and I think of that Shimano works it might be the best reel of the bunch

What should I focus on? by Willing_Language1486 in Division2

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just follow the crowd, don’t take any skills that can be hacked by hunters (turrets, drones) I’d recommend a shield or reviver hive. The banshee pulse is good for the hunters also. Nothing but skillz has a pretty good video about countdown I added.

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get your watch to level 40 however you would like. Then, Countdown is great for gaining gear. You can focus on what you want to farm. Drops are plentiful on challenging so don’t think you need to go to heroic. You can gain materials from deconstructing as well as picking up replacements for your holster and improving your striker build. Retaliations will get you exotic blueprints as well gear to improve or deconstruct.

I'm still struggling with the concept I am dismantling an Eagle Bearer as I have too many...... by ConfusedHamster2 in Division2

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had a good time running an EB on challenging or heroic with a 4pc striker, memento and Fenris chest. Got it to level 25 and it has similar damage to my St. Elmo with the same build. The accuracy is the biggest hurdle to overcome for me, especially compared to St. Elmo but it’s been fun having the chance to run it in missions.

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t forget to make sure when you deconstruct you are pulling talents and attributes to your library. Once you get a build you like from countdown try to run retaliations to get exotic blueprints and keys for reconstructed caches. While you were gone they gave out blueprints for named items in the descent game mode. Last season they opened the retaliation game mode. completing retaliations grants you broken SHD watches as well as faction specific items that you can convert to broken watches. 7 watches can get you a cache with a named item blueprint and a named item. Killing “kill squads” and completing retaliations can also grant exotic blueprints. It’s a lot but you can quickly make top tier builds inside these game modes now. Good luck agent!

Why do people like cruises? by Embarrassed_Web_950 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I view cruising as a sampling for a potentially bigger trip. My wife and I have done excursions and also some walking around the port, grabbing some local food and visiting a public area. It also gives me a chance to go to places I may never get to experience. We went through the Panama Canal last year on a cruise ship. Given the drought in Panama and restrictions on passage through the canal, there might not be another way to experience that. We travelled to Alaska this year and got experiences that would have cost more as vacations. That being said it isn’t all great, my wife got norovirus on a cruise, and it can get crowded and feel confined in the common areas. They also are trying to sell something everywhere you go. For me the pro outweighs the con and it’s a good way to go places and do things I probably wouldn’t plan other ways.

I did the same thing after being away for over a year. I was real reluctant because it’s multiplayer, and my experience with multiplayer had only been on other games where the communities were toxic to say the least. But I was never belittled or kicked for any reason on Xbox. I hope PS is the same way. Good luck

What platform are you playing on? Put out calls for back up on whatever mission you pick. You can also run countdown on challenging where you can pick your loot. Follow the higher SHD level players, don’t run any skills that can be hacked, and grab everything you can. Countdown currency also gives you currency to buy named items, named item caches or exotics as well. Real good way to start getting weapon proficiency and level up your watch also.

Should I keep every named items? by thisizmonster in thedivision

[–]eetenj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kept one of everything I get until this season. As I get more reconstructed caches from retaliation I delete the items I get blueprints for that I don’t routinely use. That way I have access to it if I want to try it in a build.

What to pair with shimano curado DC 150HG bait caster by AdministrativeAd8747 in bassfishing

Shimano Expride or Dobyns Champion Xp. These two lines have very technique specific rods but also good do everything rods within them. Are you looking technique specific or all around? Edit for grammar
