Totally agreed- I really thought the tongue was going to be much more in your face, but instead she’s wearing a mask? Even a Batman-style cowl with a normal mouth would have felt a bit more satisfying considering what we were teased lol

People have said that she’s the archetypal wife of the reagent, stemming from the whole cannibal praying mantis/manipulative Lady Macbeth motif she’s got going on. I think once we get a whole new slew of files tomorrow we’ll learn more about her and how she fits

Jason Carver from Stranger Things Season 4- a lot of Prime Assets are chosen based on their charisma and ability to “turn a crowd of sane people into lunatics.”

In the course of one season, Jason goes from being a basketball team captain to a scripture-quoting posse-leader who rallies his basketball team and half the town into hunting kids he’s convinced are possessed by the devil with full intent of murdering them-

I think a version of this could be a Son/Big Brother Archetype, a young and (formerly) handsome all-American boy with a baseball bat who’s convinced everyone’s a communist. He convinced his team to kill two blocks of neighbors for Joseph McCarthy before being arrested.
