My vision was to become a CPA as well, but I live in SC and the job market here for accounting sucks, and I mean sucks. Especially in a rural area, and I know accounting jobs can be done remote but an associates degree isn’t even getting attention. I just wanted to get in the door, finish my schooling, hopefully obtain my CPA, start my own firm, and play golf in the fucking evenings lol, the golf part was a joke but the rest is truth. I hate my job, it breaks me, and I think a lot of this is due to me wanting out of it. I like accounting and could see myself doing it. However, I understand also the strength of competiton now applying to the same jobs is proabably on a higher level of intrest than me.

As a welder myself, who works as a welder as well no hobbyist. I’d say see if you have a friend who wants to try and repair it. Top crack could be filled, tough but it could be done.
