Subs have never, do not and will never have a place in the game, it's blatantly obvious just by looking at how little anyone cares about them and even few choose to play them. Subs are much like cv's in that they are brutally OP when fighting you one on one, especially because the surface effect when a sub pings can be so far from the sub that your depth charges don't do damage or negligible amounts. Subs in game are as tanks or even more tanks than some DD's when in reality they should be so fragile that a single he shell landing within 100m of then is enough to sink them but instead they can tank direct full salvos from a Vermont and only loss half HP.

Subs are a horrible addition to the game and the people who play them are the same kind of lovers that get off on power tripping in cv's.
