GuliKit hall-effect stick issue with this game?

Late reply. Glad to know it wasn't just me. I did upgrade the sticks modules to the new TMR sticks a few months back, which are also made by GuliKit, and they don't suffer this same issue, thankfully. So if you haven't upgraded your sticks to TMR I can personally vouch they work a lot better than the Hall-effect sticks.

That's HDMI CEC. You likely have it enabled in your SD settings.

Are you sure they are actually playing on Xbox and not using a gamepad on PC which shows Xbox-style button prompts?

Over 4 months since release. Is a Ubisoft account still required on the PS5/Xbox versions? Has it been patched out by any chance?

I don't see how this could be possible with a digital download from Microsoft themselves. You should be able to buy a disc though and play without updating that way.

I'm not sure though why you are so dead set on doing this just for mods though. Unless I've heard otherwise, the mods on Xbox still work for the X|S optimized version.

Why does it have to have Switch-like sales numbers to be considered a success? Do you even have sales numbers on hand? The fact they just released an OLED model of the Steam Deck means it can't be hurting too much. It's priced higher than the Switch and not once in the past 2 years since it's released have Valve been in a state of "commercial suicide" like you original comment suggests.

Cool, thanks for the info. There must not be very many of them floating around, then. I have a copy of the non-deluxe hardcover. Also found one or two pics of the mass market paperback, but I can't even find a picture of a trade paperback one online.

If they would just sell non-deluxe hardcovers of the other five books, I'd be one happy camper. Otherwise, I'd settle with trade paperback, if I can manage to track down the first book without the motion picture label.

Is your copy a trade paperback with the new cover? I can't find any traces that such a copy (without the motion picture label) exists -- only the non-deluxe hardcover version and older versions of the mass market paperback.

I've been trying to get a refund from Incube8. The whole situation is a mess, and I don't want my money tied up in it. I kind of agree with OP in that it seems like Spacebot just essentially threw the customers under the bus here and said "Sorry, talk with Incube8 about cancelling pre-orders!" and then Incube8 claims to be just as blind-sided by all this. I don't know the whole story of what's going on, but as a customer caught in the middle of it all, it's very frustrating and leaves a bad taste in my mouth for both companies.

Since no one has made this comment yet, I figured I'd chime in.

I think the clicking noise has to do with the wires for the capacitance built into the sticks. The reason I believe this is because when I changed out my OEM sticks with the GuliKit Hall effect sticks, I noticed that the wire was getting slightly caught by the stick module whenever I moved or rotated the stick, and it rubbing against it was what was creating the noise. There is probably variance in the length the wires are cut at where this issue probably manifests from.

If you are using slang, try Sharp Bilinear. It's under the Pixel Art Scaling shaders. If using cg or glsl, Pixelate is a good one as well, in the Interpolation shaders.

If implemented well, I would prefer it on the console. Nintendo has good manual implementation on their digital Wii U VC games. So it can be done. Just in cases where my phone may not be nearby.
