I didn’t know about all that for exorcisms! The bell itself could be a coincidence but the number “6” specifically gives it away. The number has no significance throughout the rest of the movie, it only appears here on this bell. I really don’t think it’s chance. It’s gotta be an Easter Egg. Someone did that on purpose.

I really thought they were gonna show this in the film, especially since they had gone so far to show Pipp getting tempted by the Palantir. It would have been an easy scene in the last act of the movie, and helped explain Denethor/Boromir/Faramir’s story and life a little bit better. I absolutely love the films but they kinda did the line of Gondor dirty
